The Captain’s Boil was inspired by Cajun seafood boil, where freshly caught seafood is boiled and served right away to retain its freshness and tenderness. The Captain’s Boil took this idea further by adding aromatic Asian spices to enhance the natural taste of our ingredients. By removing all the unnecessary hassle of table settings and cutlery, we make sure that the food is ready-to-eat — from sea to table.

                                                                  Food was really good but it's a bit slow as they were so busy. Our server only focusing on other customers and forget us. I hope their customer service will improve but over all food is really good.

                                                                  Upon arrival? The hostess brought us to the table. Table was not ready as we had to help the hostess put the tables together. Once that was done, she just placed the menu on one side of the table rather than at each seating. A server greeted us, asked us what we wanted to drink. We all said waters for all 13 of us for now. As she left she rolled her eyes.. not sure what that was about. Another server. Asian guy with glasses and tattoos, greeted us. He was very nice and made our time at Captains Broil great! Although upon seated we were never told about the long list of items not available, like what’s the point of going if half the menu wasn’t available. However we made it work and food was still great, along with service.

                                                                  Our 1st time at this restaurant gave us a very good experience. Not a busy time although it was about noon when we made our reservation. Good service and tasty food. We had the sizzling plate lunch menu item that had 2 crayfish, 2 shrimp, 2 clams, 2 mussels with the Captain Boil sauce, teriyaki chicken and mild flavour. A good item for lunch. We would return again to try some of the other menu items that are served in a plastic bag. Definitely a new experience and fun to try.

                                                                  I made a reservation online, which I really didn't have to do cuz we had to wait while they got our table ready. I thought our table would of already been ready. The other disappointment was to find out you were out of lobster. That is what most of us wanted which is why we went to Captain Boil. Otherwise we would of went to The Keg where the lobster would of been cheaper. We had the mussels in the bag and they were very tasty but not really a substute for the lobster. Our waitress was great with her honesty & recommendation. She was pretty slow getting our bill. We would go back only if the lobster is available. My suggestion is. If you go there mainly to have the lobster, I'd call ahead to make sure it is available.
