We were a family party of 8 celebrating a retirement at the Guilded Lily on Friday 6th November 26. Everything from start to finish was lovely, we booked online which was very easy to do, the staff were very pleasant, friendly & welcoming, all our food was great too, each & everyone of us enjoyed our chosen meals which included steaks, chicken, pizza, sausage, salads, garlic & tomato breads & peppercorn sauce. The table was large & the chairs were comfortable, we had a great night & will definitely return.

Food was great, quick with the order, helpful, only thing we queried was the bill. As they overcharged us as they didn't give the offer of the day. Glad we checked, but food was delicious

Good vibe in the place, chips were very nice but salt was lashed on a bit more to one side and not distributed properly. Ribs and chicken were good would have liked the chicken to have a bit more flavour over than it just being grilled, and a bit more tender to eat. Ribs could have had a lot more sauce on them and also more tender too, should expect the bones to just pull straight out without too much effort. Gf had the Bolognese I thought the pasta was slightly chewier than softer but that is just preference sauce, meat and cheese was good . Great food just felt a bit rushed when cooked not much thought put into the process.
