The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. Once known to the locals as “The Old Orchard House”, we really are a hidden gem on Cricketers Lane in Warfield, just a short drive from Ascot Racecourse, Legoland and Bracknell. We are family friendly and also happy to welcome dogs into our bar and garden areas as we always have a jar of dog treats in the porch. Whether you want to warm yourself in the sun outside in the summer with a glass of Pimms or enjoy a perfect pint of cask conditioned real ale in front of a real log fire in the winter, the Cricketers is the perfect place for a drink. If you are looking for a great venue for a family get together, a working lunch, special occasion or a light snack we’d love you to join us.

    It was a Friday lunch time and very quiet. I would imagine it would be a lot busier in the evening. The menu was interesting and the food excellent. We were well looked after. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

    The three of us all had the roast chicken which was delicious. The bread sauce and other special accompaniments made it extra special. We weren’t too sure about the cauliflower cheese sauce though as it was very fake yellow but still tasted good

    Always have a great roast here and didn’t disappoint! Had the beef which was tender and succulent. Portion size is great too along with ordering the additional sides of pigs in blankets & cauliflower cheese. Service was also great and efficient. We will be back for this again soon!

    Nice setting in country lane lots of outdoor seating … we had two Sunday roasts lamb I had was excellent tasty and lots of it my whole fed chicken was very dry and the rest of the dinner was poor roast potatoes re cooked several times veg were overcooked… service was poor had to go the counter several times as no one came to table staff too busy talking to themselves a shame really could be such a good place I wonder if the owners know how staff are

    Beautiful spot, only 2 people foh very personable and friendly. Lovely and clean inside and out with lots of tables and benches. Food was outstanding. Scotch egg, fish and chips, crab croquettes, chicken and marmalade ham snitzel all delicious. Great spot for a party or gathering with a space to accommodate 100. Will definitely go again!

    Quite busy for a Monday lunchtime, even the staff were surprised at the number of guests. Service was good, regular pub fare well presented. Slightly on the pricey side.

    We had two family Sunday lunches in two weeks here. Both times were really lovely. The pub is large with lots of parking and a big garden / terrace area. The service was excellent from start to finish. Warm, friendly and efficient. The roast lunches were delicious and other dishes did not disappoint. The atmosphere was busy but never too much, just right. We will be back one evening soon.
