The Drawing Room Restaurant occupies the grandest room in a handsome Cotswold stone manor house located in the historic Pittville area of Cheltenham. A beautifully decorated room featuring ornate period details mixed with cool contemporary seating and funky lighting to create a unique setting. Head Chef Tim Townsend presents modern British cuisine influenced by French cooking techniques and an appreciation of quality ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. Coupled with attentive but non-intrusive service making for a wonderful dining experience.

My wife and I had a lovely stay, beautiful food and beautiful hotel. Most importantly, staff were very polite and could not do any more to assist you. Very impressed.

Excellent food - a small menu but all done very well. A strong wine list, too. Attentive service without being overbearing. My only slight criticism (and it is very slight) is that the music choice was a little odd - more noughties wine bar than cosy restaurant. Otherwise it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, would highly recommend.

Nice restaurant. We had an early dinner and it was very quiet. The food was good and the manager was very kind to our children, even bringing them homemade marshmallows at the end of the meal.

Our second visit to this beautiful Georgian hotel and its tasteful modern restaurant. The service is first class and the food is excellent, displaying the virtues of a small menu with everything done well. A hidden gem that deserves greater patronage.

The food in this restaurant is exceptional. We had the Christmas turkey roast with all of the trimmings, and we all cleared our plates. Presentation was excellent, as was the food. This restaurant has exceptionally talented chefs. The Christmas pudding souffle is fabulous. We were looked after so well by the lovely Amy. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful rooms, lovely service, very good food (but Xmas menu already in late November). Surprisingly quiet for such a good restaurant - this place should be better known!
