Our Team is excited to welcome you to The Shed Restaurant.

Reservations are essential via the above booking portal.

Whilst we love them, we cannot accomodate bookings for pets.

Bookings of 2 - 7 can enjoy our a la carte menu offering.
Bookings of 8+ adult guests may be required to dine on our Seasonal Table menu $90pp during peak times. Our Chefs cater to all preferences and dietary requirements wherever possible, please alert your waitstaff on arrival.
Note for all tables confirmed on an a la carte basis will unusually receive longer than normal service times.
Please include Children in your total number of guests when making a booking and leave a note for the restaurant when completing your reservation. Childrens menu is available.

A 10% surcharge applies on weekends / 20% on public holidays.

    Join us for an evening of art, community connection and local food & wine in our La Rue La Rue Gallery.     We all loved this experience, we ordered a bunch of things and shared them all. Staff were busy but very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a wonderful lunch

    Beautiful old building you can feel the history. Got a seat by the fire which was cosy. Food was great. Highly recommend hot salami pizza, char grilled broccolini, crispy potatoes. Only issue was couldn’t use good food voucher as they don’t have a card scanner. No point calling good food as the service is terrible. I think restaurants should drop good food vouchers.

    We were greeted straight away as we walked in. Immediately was seated at our table. Got our drinks order in and then after our food order. Both came out super fast and everything was super delicious. Thank you The Epicurean for a nice dinner. We will be back! 😊

    We keep coming back here because the food service and vibe is always very welcoming especially for a family with a small little child. Thanks team for always making us feel welcome and we definitely will be back again soon!

    Outstanding service as usual Kate and her team are amazing. The food is outstanding from the calamari to the pizza and the cauliflower salad. The roast potatoes are to die for.

    Second time here, my partner and i love this restaurant before a hot springs session once a month. The steak is fantastic, the service is very wholesome and warm, the venue is very warm inside (sometimes the fireplaces are on) and a good selection of wines. It’s our favourite little escape spot away from Melbourne. Food is at an amazing quality and standard !

    Lovely location for an indulgent Sunday Lunch in the last days of Winter. We were seated by the fireplaces which was cozy and the background music was relaxing. Drinks prices were reasonable.and the food was delicious, but the Prawn Ravioli was more like an Entree than a Main and expensive for 5 medium pieces of ravioli at $45. At that price, I think a small salad could have been included rather than having to pay extra for a rocket, pear and parmesan salad at around $20, also very tasty. We shared a Dessert, coconut ice-cream with berries and coulis which was very nice followed by 2 coffees. I was shocked by the bill of $240 for 2 main courses, 1 salad, 1 dessert, a couple of coffees and alcoholic drinks. Although the alcohol did account for $90 of the overall bill, the food and coffee bill for a light lunch was $150 for 2 people.
