   Arrived at the restaurant and we’re attended to rather quickly. We ordered and the food was marginal at best. Then we had to go to the bar to get drinks. Was extremely disappointed with food quality.

   Long wait for food and drinks. To be fair it was a Monday and the place was practically empty . Desserts were expensive and quality and taste very poor. Probably wouldn't go again.

   Extremely slow service and bad communication. Asked to changed my booked for 30 minutes earlier. Was told it would be ok. Turned up. Had to wait 30 minutes for our table. Starters took an hour 15 to arrive. Mains another 30 minutes after we had finished starters. We were in the restaurant for over 3 and a half hours. Took the shine off the meal as everyone was just so hungry we couldn’t enjoy the food, and were just desperate for it to come out. A real shame.

   The building is lovely. Staff were all nice but not on the ball- I think they were all possibly new. We shared the Korean fried cauliflower to start but this wasn’t very nice. Plain cauliflower with a plain batter on- very plain and lacked any real flavour. It needed some seasoning/Korean spices and much more sauce. I had the fish and chips as a main which was nice. Nice cod coated in a crispy batter. Chips were also nice. It came with a pea liquor or sauce which was very loose and lacked flavour- it would have been better with good old mushy peas. My daughter had steak which was cooked well but came with Jo sides or sauces so £18.50 for a steak on a plate was disappointing. It wouldn’t harm or cost much to add some chips or something to the plate. All is all we enjoyed our meal but probably won’t return.

    Amazing Sunday roast and service. The duo of singer and guitarist really added to the pleasant ambience and setting, and the service was excellent. The roast dinners and even each accompanying vegetable were absolutely delicious.

    The service staff were very polite and amazing but I feel that they were overwhelmed as there was not enough staff to cover all the tables and the bottomless experience ended up lacking as some of my friends went without drinks for long periods after they ordered them. Again that was no fault of the staff as they were doing their best, the food only an hour and a half after we sat down but everyone enjoyed the meal.

    We enjoyed a very nice Valentines meal in the bar area. They were very accommodating to the fact that we were running late and they offered us a better table as we had our little pooch with us. The service from the staff was very nice. Only minor complaint was that the red wine was served a little warm, but they resolved that by giving us an ice bucket.

    No faults with the Excellent food! Really very good! The £50 bottle of red we ordered was brought to the table already uncorked and was poured out without offering a test of the wine first. The bottle of Red was also refrigerated cold!!! Nooooo!!! Not exactly expecting a professional sommelier but providing the basics of serving red wine could have helped make a five star review.

    The food was great The service and drinks service was so terrible it was comical. I don’t think it was the waiters fault but no one seemed to know what they were doing or even how to make the drinks on the menu. It took over 45 mins for our first drinks to arrive which had missing orders and wrong drinks too. It was over an hour until the food order was taken. It could be a really great place, but it needs someone in charge who can shape and train the service up. The music was far too loud, we couldn’t chat over the meal. The food was delicious though. And they didn’t rush us out at the end, which was appreciated.

    Waited 20 minutes to be seated after being forgotten about!! Waited a further 20 minutes for our first drink. Food came out 5 minutes before that but by then I just could not wait to get out. Shocking service and it wasn't even busy. Even a staff member who wasn't working that day noticed how long we had been stood waiting!!!

    The food was very good, tasty, well presented, substantial and super delicious. I would recommend it especially with the January 50% off on the mains, but there are on 3 days left! The service was slow considering the restaurant was not that busy, but the waitresses were smiley and pleasant and explained some parts of the menu to us so we appreciated that. We do prefer a slow pleasant service than a quick no smiles, factory like service. My medium stake was swapped with my friend's medium rare steak and we didn't realise until we had already started eating. We thought it was right because my friend ordered a sauce with it and I didn't. The sauce was placed on the medium steak plate. We still enjoyed our steaks nonetheless. The music was way too loud for a restaurant situation where one wants to have a conversation, my friend tried to get the volume turned down, but we didn't notice much difference. Overall it was a good experience and we would go back and recommend it.

    Disappointing meal - menu choices not available (I assume they didn't want to serve certain courses while 50% offer was available), 'background' music was far too loud for a restaurant, front entrance door purposely left open creating extremely cold draught (I assume to rush us out of the building, after just serving a round of drinks)

    Very poor service, the establishment is staffed with very young people who appear to have not been trained in customer service or dining etiquette. Why bring a steak to the customer without any sides, veg or chips, the steak just goes cold!! The menu conveniently had no fillet or T bone steak and despite enjoying 50% off the rib eye steak it was still overpriced and a terrible cut of meat. Across the table of 4, two rib eyes were ordered and both were awful cuts of meat, so not an isolated case. The other 2 diners ordered a burger and both stated that it wasn’t as good as a budget McDonald’s burger! The only saving grace was it wasn’t full price. The drink orders were good and received timely, although it is very difficult to serve a poor pint of keg beer. Sadly despite having a good age range across the 4 diners on the table, all 4 thought their meals were substandard and none of us will be returning.

    The food that was available was lovely, why I say available is due to them reeling off a list of what wasn’t available when we arrived then coming back to the table after our order to tell us that 2 more items weren’t available. We then waited 35 minutes for our starters. cutlery wasn’t replaced inbetween, they had ample opportunity with the 40 minute wait for our mains. We had to ask for more drinks as we hadn’t been asked since we arrived, these drinks never arrived but of course arrived on our bill at the end of the meal. Desserts were preferred but cancelled due to the amount of time we had been waiting for the previous 2 course, by this time we had be there 2 hours. The bill arrived with the missing drinks, as said above but also a 12.5% service charge which was removed immediately. Real shame that the service & wait time really let the quality of the food down.

    A mixed bag really. Pleasant atmosphere upstairs in the bar with some great music. There was no one to greet us upstairs so we had to just wander down. Some food dishes were nice; others very disappointing. Same with the cocktails. Margherita was awful which was surprising considering their seemed to be lots of photos of them on the restaurant Instagram.

    A small group of us went for dinner on a Friday and we all left extremely disappointed. Pros: 1. Manager and staff were very welcoming and the service was good (slow but good overall). 2. Dog friendly 3. Nice interior space/decoration Cons: 1. Music was extremely loud, we felt like we were eating at a club. We had to shout over each other - not ideal for a dinner. We asked the manager to turn it down twice. 2. Food was tasteless. Wild mushroom starter was bland, the steak came medium well (ordered medium rare but had to eat it as it came almost an hour later and we were all starving) & the béarnaise sauce was basically vinegar (had to send it back). 3. Overpriced (even with their January offer) for what you get. Overall disappointing as we were all looking forward to it.

    the service was a little slow , drinks too a while to arrive after ordering . Our table of 8 ordered only main meals and this took over an hour to arrive with sides coming late , 1 dish was returned due to it being cold . the rest of the food was good, not sure if I’d return soon .

    I went for my birthday meal and got told numerous dishes on the menu were sold out which was strange considering it was 7.30pm and the place was dead with no one in the bar and two couples dining. The staff were lovely but I was very disappointed as I picked the venue based on the menu.

    Food was excellent. Service was far too slow, chased up our drinks twice (table of 2). The restaurant was cold, which meant the food went cold very quickly. The bathrooms- only cold water from the taps and a cold air dryer. Not ideal in middle of winter. In the end I sat with my coat on. At time of booking I was asked if it was an occasion and I stated birthday, don't know why they asked as nothing happened. It was very noisy due to an event upstairs but this was not the restaurant's fault.

    Loved the venue, food was good and background music (via a live DJ) was really fun (not too loud, not too quiet, just right). Several of the seafood options were not available. Service was a little slow at times, though the restaurant did not appear to be busy.

    Booked meal for a birthday celebration on the day. Having spoken to staff I then booked online. My booking was was then cancelled ( with under two hours notice ) allegedly due to electrical problems in kitchen warranting no ability that cook meals! Wasn't advised of this earlier. Very disappointed.

    The staff was a little bit over the place even the restaurant was not so busy, food overpriced for quality and then they added 12% service charge on the bill, hate places doing that, also I didn't see anywhere that this service charge was going to be applied otherwise I would not go (hate restaurants doing that, I like to decide the tip depending of service and food quality) Not coming back.

    Really slow service staff were not attentive. Food was overpriced for a very average sunday roast. Beef was chewy. Dessert came with items missing from the menus description. Paid the service charge but felt it was to much as service was terrible and the restaurant was freezing. Really disappointing for a £180 bill for 4 people. I don’t mind paying for quality but this was terrible.

    The restaurant had 2 large parties then our table of 4. We waited 15 minutes to be asked about drinks, then the mains came out with no sides. The steak was blue rather than medium rare so was sent back. We then waited 10 minutes for sides whilst the mains were going cold. The seabass was £18 and was a really tiny portion. The waitress did take the sides off the bill at the end which was fair but I think overall we wouldn't return due to the cost far exceeding the quality and service.

    We can for bottomless brunch. Our table was shoved downstairs in the way. Waited ages for drinks, food was average. One of the worst bottomless brunches we have been to. Won’t be coming back sadly.

    No choice of food, ran out apparently , staff standing around couldn’t wait for us to leave ,spoilt our weekend that we had looked forward to will not be going there again and will let all my friends know 😡😡😡

    Visited with my husband and mother in law. Reduced menu on a Sunday. The food was nice - burger and fries would have benefited from a little side salad and / or coleslaw, it all looked a bit lost on the plate. Roast beef dinner was good but they were down to the last two servings so but more fat on the meat than expected. Staff were lovely but lacking confidence / experience which just created a bit of a strange ordering and paying experience - no major issues though and would try it again. When I visited earlier in the year with my sister it was fabulous!
