Nestled on the edge of scenic Horsell Common, just outside Woking, two minutes away from Mclaren Centre, The Gosling offers a sophisticated yet welcoming dining experience. This stylish restaurant and bar, which opened in late 2023 after a comprehensive refurbishment, has quickly become a local gem. Under the culinary direction of Executive Chef Adam Reclik, guests can enjoy modern European cuisine crafted with precision. The Gosling offers an elegant space perfect for any occasion, from a relaxed lunch to a special evening out. Having won two awards for Best Restaurant in Surrey, The Gosling provides a charming escape, blending refined tastes with a comfortable atmosphere. We recommend you try a cocktail in our beautiful bar before or even after dinner. Must try dishes are The lobster crumpet with beurre noisette, miso & chives and The pan-roasted Peterhead cod with lobster dumpling, baby spinach, ginger & lobster butter.

    First time here but won't be the last. We were made to feel very welcome by all staff, especially the manager, Fernando, who came over at the end of the meal to have a long chat. Service felt a little slow but we weren't in a rush, so it wasn't really an issue. There were also a few big tables in, which often slows service for other tables.

    Lovely welcome, as always. Nice table and plenty of space to next customers. Menu was extensive and very interesting (even the special menu). The food was beautifully presented with attractive garnish and delightful to eat. What more could we possibly have wanted!

    Astonishingly good food, thought I was in a smart restaurant in central London. Cosy; classy decor and good lighting; really outstanding piece of wild halibut; very fair pricing and corkage fee. Friendly staff. Hard to find this level of cooking in Surrey. Bravo!!!

    Very disappointed, came to celebrate a birthday , it felt like the waiters didn’t want to be there ! Ask for bread and butter , no small plate . Ask for table water , not poured for us , main meal came out , got the wrong person , it was only two of us ! Lack of attention to detail. There for a birthday not even a small plate to say happy birthday.
