   Had lunch menu which had varied choice and good value but the service let them down. Had to ask for dessert menu and then coffees came before the desserts although they then brought another round . Overall good food and atmosphere.

   We had afternoon tea. The food was good but service was poor, examples being we didn't get milk with our tea (and when we asked for it we then found they'd tried to charge us for it), nor did we get tea spoons or in fact any spoon (the tea included a mousse). To top it off the tea came with a small smoothie one of which our server spilled all over the table when clearing plates. We didn't get a replacement and the advice was to put a plate in the middle to cover the mess ! As I say the food was great but it felt like they had crammed too many tables in or that the staff were too inexperienced - there were lots of them but getting one to take an order was near impossible. Probably won't return to this one.

   We were in Harrogate to celebrate my birthday, we have visited The Ivy in various London locations and it has always been fabulous & Harrogate didn’t disappoint, lovely food & drink with the expected wonderful service & lovely birthday treat of dessert ❤️

    Waiters were pushy, the salt and pepper squid for starters was below average, it might as well have just been taken out of the Iceland freezer bag and stuck in the microwave, no seasoning just a couple and not even that of sliced chillis. The chicken and hallommi salad, was uninspiring and the chicken wasn’t even cooked it was pink in the middle. Overall I would never go again. So many more BETTER restaurants in the Harrogate area.

    Another lovely experience at The Ivy Harrogate. I visited with my mum and we travelled from Leeds as we love the Harrogate restaurant. The service was outstanding, the food was perfect (i had blackened Cod), the atmosphere was great so overall, it was the perfect dining experience. Thank you:)

    The duck curry and burger were outstanding. Was over faced with the portion size of zucchini. Would of liked to of been offered tap water!!! Overall definitely recommend 😊 was our 1st visit

    Elegant dining venue, excellent and friendly service. Lovely table settings, and menu superb. Food was outstanding. Good helpings! And wine really nice. James, our young friendly waiter, was great!

    The service was amazing and the staff were very attentive. The food was amazing and served at just the right times. We didn’t feel rush but we didn’t feel like we was waiting around for the food either.

    We have visited countless Ivy’s in London and across the country and we were really disappointed by this one. The decor and ambience was lovely however the service and food let it down massively. We sat down and waited 20 minutes before we were asked what we’d like to drink, a family of 4 were then sat down right next to us (the restaurant was practically empty) which was quite annoying. We ordered some nibbles to start and the arancini came out quickly but they didn’t bring out the bread we ordered. When we sled about it (about 15 minutes after our we’d finished the arancini) the waiter said oh yes the bread takes longer. First you why didn’t she say when we ordered it and secondly I’ve had the bread plenty of times and it’s never taken very long - it’s bread!? When our mains came out we had the chicken Milanese which we have both had countless times before and it was grisly and extremely greasy. The chips we ordered on the size were dripping with oil and overall not nice at all. We complained to management who gave us our drinks for free (we’d both had 2 diet cokes each so getting them for free was hardly generous) so we ended up paying £60 for a meal we both walked away feeling ill from. Such a shame as we love the Ivy’s and as I said have been plenty of times as we love it so much.

    I think the Ivy in Harrogate is a victim of its own success. I have been here twice and both times have had issues with inattentive staff, the first time my main course ended up in my lap. The second time a well meaning staff member went to refresh my drink and replaced my cocktail with a non alcoholic drink. The food was good but the place is heaving with people. Not the place for a quiet dinner with someone you love.

    Did have to Query the bill due to over charge, sorted out no problem , Service was excellent Our main problem tables very small and to close , heard all the conversations on next table .

    Birthday meal out. With cost of living biting you really want to make sure you get your money worth. Although The Ivy is pricier than a lot others, you get what you pay for. Amazing starters (really recommend the beef tartar) with superb mains of decent portion size. Incredibly tasty dessert. The staff were amazing and attentive. Will definitely return!

    Absolutely perfect, nothing to fault from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Food was fantastic, staff were attentive and helpful without being too fussy. My husband enjoyed his birthday meal and even got a little complimentary birthday treat with a candle in. Don’t think about booking just do it!

    I had a vegetarian main course, costing nearly £20, and it had three small pieces of feta cheese if 1 cm square. I complained and they still charged me. Awful
