The food is overpriced for the quality, or lack thereof. Their sushi roll tasted like supermarket sushi and their charcuterie board was terrible, especially for the price. Other than the atmosphere, this place is horrible and overpriced, and I would not go back.

I came after leaving a show at Pantages, it’s within walking distance. It was very quiet and I was surprised. The drinks are about $20 each, food ranges, and is good. Short menu, overall a good experience.

unfortunately, your valet service where I parked my car are a gas thieves! I had a full tank of gas when I valet parked my car, when I got on the freeway to go home, my gas light came on, empty! In had a full tank of gas. I will never park nor eat at the Library ever again!

As Sunday matinee season ticket holders at the Pantages, we are always looking for a good pre-show spot. Unfortunately, brunch at The Living Room (W Hotel) was a massive disappointment for our party of five. We booked a 10:45 AM reservation via OpenTable, only to be told upon arrival that the restaurant runs as "Cafe Goldie" until 11:30 AM. The options were extremely limited: either a $65 brunch buffet or a $30 menu with only three items (a breakfast burrito, avocado toast, or a fried egg sandwich). The $30 burrito came out completely plain on a plate with just a side of salsa—no sides or extras included. Service was equally sluggish. We had to ask twice for water, and when four of us ordered mimosas, only three arrived; the fourth came much later. The W Hotel has a prime location directly across from the Pantages, but they continue to miss the mark. On a previous visit, we were sent to a messy, top-floor banquet room because of a filming conflict. After two poor experiences in a row where we felt overlooked and forgotten, we will be taking our pre-show business back to Lemon Grove and Jemma for the rest of the season.

Nicolle was very helpful in guiding the selection of the food for us. Her recommendations were spot on. We ordered the pork ribs and this was different from what we had before and did not like it. A tad dry, not very tasty and difficult to eat compared to the other dishes. We would prefer serving utensils with a party of four and clean dishes after we sampled 4-5 dishes. Dishes were served more promptly than in the past and we easily made the performance at the Pantages theatre

Took my girlfriend for her birthday and visually, the restaurant was all we hoped so. Beautiful decor, colors and food was delicious. Thank you for making our day amazing.

I wanted to find a nice place for dinner before a show at the Blue Note club. This Living Room looked like it fit the bill. It is a short 10-minute walk from the club. The restaurant is in the lobby of the W Hotel in Hollywood. The pictures look great, but in person, it just didn’t have the same vibe nor energy. Which is really unfortunate and sad, as it’s not really under the control of the hotel, but rather the surrounding sad state of the Hollywood area. Food wise, it’s not bad, but not great. It’s hotel food. I had a steak that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The cucumber salad was good too. Service was good and attentive. Not a fan of the low tables in the main eating area, but no big deal. While I wouldn’t come here just to eat dinner,if I needed a meal before a show it’s a possibility, but there are likely many other choices too.
