Nestled into the corner of Spitalfields, we are a casual bistro-style bar, cafe & restaurant, serving up wonderful seasonal plates made with the freshest seasonal ingredients for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Expect an extensive range of British & Belgian beer, self-imported French wine, Andronica's excepional coffee & classic cocktails. Our restaurant is the product of over 20 years’ work by couple Kay and Peter Sinden, who have now passed on the daily running of the place to their own children.

A perfect environment for a quick lunch meeting & to impress your clients. We are an oasis of calm in the madness of Spitalfields, a quirky spot for a catch up with pals! Rooms are also available for private hire for birthdays, networking events, weddings & more.

Expect a lovely cosy interior, carefully hand-crafted from salvaged materials by Peter himself, and a warm, welcoming team. We so look forward to seeing you!

For up to 14 guests, we offer our a la carte small plates menu, but can offer a three course menus for those who would like it. For parties of up to 35 guests, we can offer a fairly bespoke family-style menu. And for up to 45, we can offer a canape menu for a stand-up drinks-and-nibbles affair. Something for everyone!
Private party faciliteiten
We have two rooms for private hire, one rather grand Georgian dining room which seats up to 14 guests & another turn-of-the-century room with a lovely skylight which can hold up tp 45 guests for any party or event.

The lamb shoulder was delicious and the service was great! But I must complain that there were no greens available other than badly cooked spinach.

Nice spot for breakfast and a good menu. Breakfast good but some unique flavours that don’t always compliment. But a good plentiful portion and great coffee.

Great service from staff. We had a mid-week lunch and the food was great, starters were tasty and good portion size. For mains we ordered streak frites and the cod special, both of which were very tasty and well cooked.

Love this place. Staff are always fabulous, the food great, different menu each time, delicious cocktails, beautiful wine, booth seating….all in a stunning building.

We went to the jazz night for our anniversary and had the most amazing time! We were well fed, had great wine recommendations and the music was incredible and was still smooth enough for us to have a great conversation The service was absolutely 10/10

I had booked a table for 4 but unfortunately 2 of my girlfriends couldn't attend. The staff were very obliging, very helpful. The food was excellent We will be coming back
