Located just steps away From Park Avenue's hustle and bustle, you'll find New York's perfect intimate hideaway, The Parlour. The Parlour pays tribute to the Hotel's 1920's origin. Our food and beverage offerings are crafted in a way to take you on a journey of the hotel's history, city and culture, artistically paired in style with local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients.

The Parlour carries a rare selection of vintage beverages, varying from timeless New York classics, as well as one of a kind recipes unique to The Parlour. Fan favorites include our indulgent Barclay Blend Burger, Green Pulse Salad, and refreshing Bees Knees.

    My wife and I had dinner at the hotel restaurant on our first night in NYC. We both ordered the filet mignon, requested medium. Both steaks arrived medium-rare. I sent mine back, but after waiting over 15 minutes, it was returned still medium-rare. There seemed to be no priority given to recooking the dish, and my wife had completely finished her meal before my plate arrived. Our server was inattentive and showed little interest in resolving the situation. Noticing the breakdown in service, the manager stepped in on their own and offered to credit the meal. However, when the check arrived, none of the promised credits had been applied. By that point, we just wanted to end the evening, so I paid and left. A disappointing dinner experience that I wouldn't repeat—though credit where it's due, the breakfast here the next morning was phenomenal.

    Burger was overdone twice and took forever to come out both times. Wouldn’t come back even if I had another credit.

    The greens selected for the salad were crisp, clean and fresh. The anchovies on the Caesar were not overly fishy or salty and were a compliment to the dish rather than a distraction. French onion soup stock was flavorful and had some pleasant depth. The crostini used could have been of better pedigree, but when soaked in the stock and covered in broiled cheese, it sufficed. Service was friendly and actively involved in their job. Thank you for a good lunch.

    The food and ambience were good but I rated low on value due to ordering a sprite with my meal and they brought me a can that cost $11 which is excessive even for nyc in my opinion.

    Outstanding food and drinks. High class ambience. Service was poor. At more than $150 a plate, customers get to be picky. When you ask for your dessert to be boxed up and the waiter sets your dessert on a stack of dirty plates from other tables before boxing it up, you have to wonder what's going on behind the scenes.
