Dinner was exceptional from Rusty Nail cocktails to amazing salads (the Roasted Beet salad was special) and outstanding entrees, Osso Buco and Steamed Lobster. Even the bread and olive tapenade oil was amazing!

Our server Kyle, was attentive although busy. The Pineville Tavern is a solid go to when trying to decide where to eat. Two menus to choose from the, Tavern or the Dal Abruzzese. The meal is always good. Seems like the menu rotates (not a bad thing) from the last time we were there 3 months or so.The atmosphere is great no matter where you're seated.

I had booked the dinner reservation because I saw that you were participating in Newtown Restaurant Week and I liked the menu. When the waiter came by, I asked about the Restaurant Week menu and he said you weren't participating on the weekend. I was disappointed because I didn't see any disclaimers on the menu. I have been to the Pineville Tavern on many occasions and really liked the food. Therefore, we decided to stay and order off the menu. We were seated in the bar area which is my least desirable part of the restaurant but our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed our meal very much. When I got home, I researched the Newtown Restaurant Week website and found a chart that listed when each restaurant would honor the fixed priced menu. Pineville Tavern was listed for the entire week. Other restaurants did indicate that they would not honor for the weekend. I am very disappointed in management's decision to join restaurant week but not honor what they advertised.
