Truly a restaurant with outstanding food. We had the herb-smoked fish dip which was perfection. We had the sliders which were delicious. The grilled little gem salad was so good. The crispy brussels sprouts were so good, I could not stop eating them. Truly, it is rare to go to a restaurant these days and at every bite, say that you have never had something so delicious. This was one of those meals.

This is a poolside bar with limited menu. Everything tasted great, service was top notch. Unfortunately, no kids menu.

We will try them again, but this experience was not very good. It was a Saturday early evening, 5:00 and not very busy at all. Sporadic service with no follow up, so we sat there for 15 minutes with not even a glass of water. Then the bartender just got busy and started serving whoever was in front of him. So we got up from the table to order at the bar. Then a server came to the table (still no water) and we ordered an IPA - "oh no sorry, we have absolutely no beer. We are all out of all beers." At that point it was feeling really off, so we just left. The valet was very nice, and gave great service. He too could not believe that they told us they were completely out of beer on a Saturday!!

The restaurant was overwhelmed by the number of guests at the hotel. We felt bad for the staff working but the lack of staffing is indicative of poor management and planning. With numerous open tables, the wait to be seated was considerable. Likewise the wait to order, for our order to be delivered and any service request involved lengthy waits. The overall experience was poor.

Food was awful- had the swordfish sandwich and it was so fishy. I told the staff as I barely ate it and no offer for discount. Watermelon drink was crazy sugary but not terrible. Will not be back unless I’m laying by the pool. Music was blaring grunge and metal which I am from Seattle so sometimes into…..but not the vibe at sunset with a friend

I love going here for business meetings because it has that ambience that impresses but at the same time, it is so laid back. However, the food is really good, service is excellent and what's not to love about the views?

When I booked on OpenTable it made it seem like a restaurant, yet when we arrived, the person at the front desk kind of scoffed(?) when I said “the restaurant…The Pocket.” He said “oh that’s not the restaurant, it’s up by the pool and is like a cafe.” I mean, the menu and venue looked like a restaurant to me, and I felt a bit put off bc we were there for Father’s Day, and it made it seem as if I had just booked a random little cafe somewhere. The food was just okay, but the restaurant itself was really cute, and the view of the pool and ocean was great! It feels like with better food (we had a burger, Caesar salad, and fish tacos, and none were great), and maybe not acting as if guests have booked something second rate, it could be a really great place.
