After years of planning and work to restore the historical building that inspired the brewery, The Publican House restaurant and tap house is opening its doors to you! The 170-year old building has been reborn using original elements wherever possible, with a modern twist to create a unique and inviting space.

With a focus on local, we have incorporated a new spin to pub food featuring a wood fired pizza oven, high quality fresh ingredients and recommended beer pairing options with daily specials.

The bar features all of our Publican House beers, crafted on-site, along with new specialty brews developed monthly and available exclusively at The Publican House. Rounding out the menu will be locally produced craft beer, speciality cocktails and wine from around the world.

We always have a wonderful meal with a friendly staff member. Last night it was Emma! Lovely patio

Consistently good! Bustling patio, dog friendly (very… all the staff came by and gave him fuss), food was all delicious as always, and great service- Gavin was awesome!

Great lunch on the patio. Food was great. Service was good in spite of it being Mother’s Day — packed house. Well done Publican House !

It was too cold inside so we had to sit on the patio which was also not that warm out. Only two brunch options on Mother’s Day. Eggs Benny were not good- sauce was thin and watered down, they were not hot, and eggs were too over done. Really disappointing. Food used to be great here. Don’t think we will be back after this.

Great atmosphere, great selection of drinks and food and lovely patio! We were celebrating a large birthday party and they were so accommodating and attentive! Highly recommend!

We love the Publican House. The staff are so lovely, welcoming, and accommodating. The food is delicious. Great neighbourhood vibe. Would recommend over and over again.

Great appetizers, we had the Spinach dip and the Cauliflower bites- both delicious! But if you get the chance try the Cuban eggrolls-the best!
