Over dit restaurant

  • Charmant
  • romantisch
The Sly Fox Pub serves British classics with an innovative twist alongside a wide selection of craft brews in Southern Pines, NC. A proper British Gastropub in the midst of the Carolinas.

So what is a gastropub? Simple, honest, straightforward food with minimal fuss derived from quality ingredients. And of course, we provide a great selection of brews to compliment the food. The menu draws from both national and international cooking traditions, remaining in harmony with the seasonal availability of high-quality local ingredients. Our 16 tap selection of local, national, international, and limited small batch craft brews is second-to-none.

Not good enough for the prices they charge. Sausage rolls were nothing like what sausage rolls should be like. The pastry was greasy and they looked liked they had been microwaved. The Fish and Chips were probably one of the owrst I have ever eaten. Fish was mush and the triple-cooked chips were actually just ordinary fries and luke warm at that. The shepherds pie was mostly potato with very little lamb. Not what you would expect for $24. We won't be back.

The lamb shepherds pie and English dip were amazing. Excellent service, casual but nice. Will definitely be back!

Food was terrible. Fish looked like it was fried two days ago and reheated before service, thrice cooked fries must have been boiled, fried and microwaved limp.

The menu was different from last time we were there, which was a while ago. There was some of my favorites and some new surprises that were so delicious. The surface was excellent. Mr. Cameron was so attentive and professional, and the decor was very entertaining, interesting and accurate to the ambience of the restaurant

Are waiter was very nice but slow bringing out food and drinks. Fries in a cast iron skillet cold so definitely the skillet was not heated. Quesadilla was good and salad's were good.
