Food was excellent. The bottle of wine we ordered they didn't have. The $80 bottle of Pinot Grigio was swapped for a $15 bottle you can get at Dan Murphy's. Luna Lace it was called. We took a picture. Still charged the full $80 which is a rip off. Big group next to us of two tables. More focus to them than us. Shame on our 30th wedding anniversary which I said beforehand.

Went here for a lunch on Sunday afternoon. Weather was beautiful so the overall feel of the terrace was fantastic. Superficially the venue looks upmarket, but a closer look reveals, cracks, scratches and a need for a refresh on some of the table and furniture. The menu is fairly limited but the quality of the meals delivered is good. Pricing is fair. Probably a little lower than other places on some dishes, but portion size corresponds. Service was a little slow at times. For example I had the octopus and monkfish which was only around $22 which is fairly cheap for this type of restuarant , but the portion size was quite small, so a fair trade off i think. There was live music also provided which was quite good . I think beer pricing was not great $19/pint is a bit over the top.

Asked to leave after 90 min. Unable to finish food or bottle of wine purchased felt we had to rush it down. Was going to order more food but no time. Felt like we were cattle being pushed through. Very disappointing as I have been going to this hotel regularly for years. Will be very wary about booking this place next time. The 90 min limit was only in the fine print of the booking when I checked. It should be obvious at the time of booking in bold print. If it was I would not have booked the terrace at all as we wanted to be able to eat and drink at a relaxed pace and not feel like we were in a meat market and churned through. Again very disappointing so overall 1 star review.

Drinks and service was amazing. We had a table booked from 5 to 6.30. We were originally told table was free until 7. Then someone else came and said we need to leave at 630 as table was booked, which is fair as that’s when we booked to. But then someone came back and told us at 6.10pm that we had to leave in 5 mins as they needed to get table for next booking. When we questioned that we had the booking to 6.30 - he would not have it and said they need to get the table ready - sorry but we booked to 6.30. He compromised to 6.20pm but it was still not great patronage when booking clearly stated 5 to 630. Besides this, staff were amazing.

Lunch on 3/9/26. A great view, but that's where the good bit ends. Dress code was very lax, customers in rugby shorts and rubber thongs. Felt like a suburban shopping mall, not a rooftop city bar. Food came before drinks, sashimi was not fresh and was average quality. Eggplant was more like oil soaked batter with a slither of vegetable. Service was very ordinary, after trying to wave a the waitress down - literally had to drop a fork on the ground to get her attention! Sadly - we won't be back.
