    Had a lovely Sunday lunch with a couple of friends. Beautiful food! We had 2 roast lambs and a roast chicken - delicious . Lovely friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Really lovely refurb! We keep coming back- think it’s becoming a regular Sunday lunch treat!

    Superb lunch at the Thatched as always, roasts are incredible and the staff also. So lucky to have such a great pub that ticks all boxes on our doorstep.

    Sunday lunch for my dad’s 90th birthday, 3 generations of family. We had a lovely meal, food was lovely. Waitress, didn’t catch her name was lovely, couldn’t have been more helpful

    Lovely evening at The Thatched Inn where we had a delicious meal. The food was well presented and we very much enjoyed it. The service was excellent and there were some nice wine options. There was a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. This was our second visit and we will undoubtedly visit again.

    On Tuesday evening, I was treating a friend to dinner after he took me to see my wife (Anne) in Hospital in Brighton. It had been a stressful day, not only getting ready to go to the hospital, but also seeing my wife (Anne) in the hospital. My friend and I were able to have a great meal at 'The Thatched Inn' - we ordered from the specials menu (a nice piece of pork with mashed potato and vegetables). We both had a great meal and were looked after very well by the team there.

    We arrived rather early for our booking but they were happy to accommodate us, despite being very busy. Food and service excellent, but it was quite noisy with several families in the room. On reflection, we should have asked to have been seated outside, as it was a lovely evening. Will certainly return.

    The food is very good. I had the steak pie with mash potato & vegetables but there could have been more vegetables. My husband had the chicken dish which he enjoyed. My daughter had a cheese burger with chips which she said was good. I think there could also be more choice on the desserts like a cheese cake or chocolate brownie. Overall, we had a good meal & would recommend eating at The Thatched Inn.

    Hi Sue, Thanks for coming to join us and great to hear that you enjoyed the food so much - we've got a really dedicated and fun team of chefs here! Never a problem to bring out some more veg and there's a great range of sides too if you ever want to add some elements to your meal. Ah, Sue, we had both of those lovely dishes on the previous menu that we've just updated! We now have a super indulgent Pain-au-Chocolat Bread & Butter Pudding, an excellent Lemon Tartlet, a delicious Belgian Waffle, the got to have Sticky Toffee, a rotating Chef Choice Crumble, Cheese & Port. a Biscoff Sundae, Ice-creams & Sorbets or a couple of Cake Choices. But that Brownie was quite special -we'll have to make sure it's back for Christmas for sure! We look forward to having you back soon. Best, Charlie
