The Venice West is an eclectic restaurant and live music venue located in Venice, California. TVW offers a supper club vibe serving “upscale comfort food” accompanied by a full bar featuring an array of tasty cocktails and a great selection of beers on tap.

Chef Diego’s mouth watering creations will delight you. From main dishes like the Crispy Chicken & Waffles to a savory selection of unique Neapolitan-style pizzas, salads, sandwiches, share plates, and desserts. The menu truly offers something for everyone.

The Venice West provides a true “dinner and a show” experience and will not disappoint. Our goal is simple: create a welcome place for music fans and artists alike to enjoy great food, music, and good times. Thank you and we hope you enjoy the show!

I wish I could give the Venice West a five star review. There were so many things that were perfect and memorable. Unfortunately, I placed an order for an appetizer and specifically said “make sure this comes out first; last time it came out AFTER the meal, and of course by then I didn’t want it.” Well this time it just didn’t come out at all. Again, after our meals were brought out, I eventually managed to get the attention of the server and let him know that the appetizer never came. I was surprised to not see this item removed from the bill, and even more surprised to not receive an apology about them forgetting it. I had also asked the server if they would be able to leave off one of the toppings on my pizza and was told it was no problem, but when the pizza came, it was covered in the topping. Kind of a bummer because we had the best table and everything else was great, but cold food, forgotten food, and the wrong food is definitely a disappointment.

Good staff. Honored reservation. The main band was way too loud. Need better sound person to calibrate the sound TO THE ROOM. The first band was better. You heard everything and everyone. Second band the sound was awful. Food not much better. Awful fish tacos I ate one bite all batter Cole slaw too sweet and Cole slaw inedible.

We had so much fun! Our server was so positive and friendly and the food was delicious, and the music was just loud enough to feel like you were out on the town but wasn’t too much to make you feel numb when the show was over. Went to The Laurel Canyon Band. So much fun!

From the moment we stepped in we were greeted warmly by staff. Dinner and drink service was great by our waiters before and after the show. Thin crust Pepperoni Pizza with spicy honey was good as was the Arugula Caesar Salad and Strawberry shortcake. Had the Espresso Martini and 2 Lemon Drops. Very good. Great dinner and music venue. Bathroom was clean. Glad I got there for dinner before the show. Was able to find parking off street out front. Was told same owners as the former St. Rocke in Hermosa Beach which is a place I loved going to. 10 out of 10 would return.

The service was absolutely horrible. I waited a full hour to get waiters attention to order a drink. The drink and food took another 45 min to arrive. I had to find him twice to ask him what was going on. I had to ask the manager where he was. My dessert he forgot and the ice cream melted and was awful. No exaggeration. Terrible service and only 1 bartender and 2 people handling the floor.

Venice West does a nice job. I reserved a table thinking it would give me an opportunity to watch the band with a decent view. Instead, I was seated in the far back of the room along the wall, which gave me no view at all. The perk is you can go stand in the standing room only section and always come back to your table. If that’s not important to you then I say avoid dinner altogether and just come for the music. There is a VIP section in the very front along the side of the wall. If I were ever to want to see a band there again and have a meal that’s the only way I would do it. The noise level is very high, so I had to go and sit next to my friend so I could actually have a conversation while we had dinner. It’s just really loud even without the band playing. Otherwise, we had the arugula salad with goat cheese, and a pizza with brussels sprouts and roasted onions. Both were very good. Our server was excellent. She was upbeat and did everything she could to ensure we had a nice experience. The ambience is very good. It’s a pretty room, the sound system is excellent and everyone in the standing room only section was friendly and having a good time. I went to see MissusJones, an Amy Winehouse cover band, they were fun and lived up to their reputation. A fun evening!
