Very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We felt beyond rushed, we got our appies and entree all at the same time, our server offered to split our plate; without us realizing they charge for that?? Food was OK. Would not go back again.

Drinks were amazing. I got the Peaky Blinders and my girlfriend got the Mi Corazon, both were AMAZING. The calamari was the best we have ever had. The lobster Ravioli was the best dish I have ate in my entire life. All around great restaurant and service.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. We ate here once before. It was just ok but we decided to give it a 2nd try since we were headed to the theater. This time it was BAD. The waiter was prompt with our drink order & placed wine on the table with a cooler. He took our food order and that was the last we saw of him until after our dinner plates were cleared. Husband had tortellini that was so drowning in pesto sauce, we couldn't tell what kind of tortellini it was. He got sick later that night. I had gemelli that was supposed to have zucchini and broccolini. The sauce was pure tomato paste out of a can - no seasoning whatsoever. At least get a jar of Ragu. The 3 small chunks of zucchini and 1 small piece of broccolini were raw. Inedible. We would have complained, but waiter was nowhere to be found, and we had a show to catch. Maybe it was the chef's night off. Maybe they can get away with it in a touristy area. I grew up in an Italian-American home, so I've had plenty of good Italian food. This was absolutely the worst.

The restaurant is a very nice place The food was good, slightly above average. The prices were reasonable. The service was very good. Interesting note, they have lighted profanities around the room. I used translator to find out what they said.

This place is as authentic as it gets. I have been to Italy 30 times on business and been to big expensive places and mom and Pop. This mixes the two. Great atmosphere. Music is inappropriate for the restaurant. Great service. Great wine. Great desserts. Don’t miss it if you are in San Diego

All I can say is WOW great great food, amazing drinks and the service is second to none, we feel like family as soon as we walk in the door. The bar and bartenders are awesome, a must visit every time we come to San Diego.

Robinson was a great server and his trainee was very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely and the drinks were amazing. The lobster ravioli was disappointing but the brussel sprouts were great.

The food was fine but several things were already unavailable even though we were there for an early dinner. Our waiter wasn’t very helpful into directing us to other options rather than telling us as we ordered that the items we requested were no longer available. The food we did order was fine but the service was lacking from our server. Our waiter came by to ask if we would like garlic bread and we said sure without realizing that it would be added to our tab. Would’ve been nice to know that was going to be an extra surcharge. The person who brought out the food, different from our server, was friendly and attentive though.

The highlight of this restaurant is undoubtedly its ambiance. The floral arrangements, lighting, and overall decor create a lovely and romantic setting. However, despite the pleasant atmosphere, the food didn't quite meet our expectations. None of us at the table were particularly enthusiastic about the dishes. While the truffle gnocchi started off tasty, it became less enjoyable with each bite. Additionally, the margaritas were served with salt or sugar scattered on the sides of the glass, rather than on the rim. This led to sticky hands for everyone since the dim lighting made it hard to notice. The pasta lacked sufficient sauce, resulting in a dry texture. One of us even ordered a pizza with honey, which turned out to be quite disappointing. Given our experience, it's unlikely that we will return to this restaurant. This was actually my second visit here, as we had previously celebrated a friend's birthday last year, and it seems we didn't love it then either. The main redeeming quality of this place remains its atmosphere.

Server seemed like he wanted us out of there, never bothered to ask us if we wanted anything else. Just kept asking if we wanted boxes to go. The pizza we ordered was missing an ingredient, I can’t remember what the name was, but it was supposed to have grilled peaches. There was none on the pizza. When we asked the server, he said yeah we haven’t had peaches for 2 days. He didn’t even bother to tell us when we ordered it, and it was the only reason we ordered that specific pizza. Went on to say “but don’t worry I got you” and proceded to do nothing about it. We thought maybe he would give us a discount, we got nothing. place is really cute, but service and food were pretty bad.
