Turner Contemporary Restaurant
Moved to margate and Turner bit like eating in London
The waitress was very helpful especially with the fact that my partner has coeliac. The only thing missing was a busy atmosphere because it wasn't full. The view is good.
More local people should put this venue on their foodie list. Lovely food, lovely table linen and music. Needs to be more "buzzy" but that only needs more bookings. We will be back again....and again.
Had a table with a view of an amazing sunset over Margate harbour arm. Not much ambiance in the restaurant as only 2 tables were occupied. Our waiter was very obliging and patient. Starters were tasty. My mains rack of lamb was perfectly cooked as the chef really listened to how I wanted it cooked. My husbands baked aubergines were under cooked unfortunately. Desserts were delicious. Strange that there was no fish on the menu, and the wine list was quite limited. However, will definitely return and will recommend to friends.
A wonderful addition to the Margate experience. Bring it all on !!
We were well looked after. I live in London and my folks live in France and we were all taken aback by the fantastic quality of the meals which would have certainly cost a lot more where I'm from.
The sun set over the bay and the service was attentive and patient.
The place was a little empty which just slightly dampened the mood but actually it made very little difference to us. I hope the place does become busier because it truly deserves to be.
Quite outstanding views across sea combined with delicious food and friendly attentive service. I would highly recommend.
