LOCATED IN NORTH DEVON, UNITED KINGDOM

A beautiful countryside restaurant where it’s easy to believe that time really has stood still, Tyme is set within Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel close to Devon’s well known and picturesque beach resort of Woolacombe and coastal town of Ilfracombe. Trimstone Manor is a renovated 17th century country house nestled in 44 acres of glorious countryside and landscaped gardens, its origins date back to the Domesday Book. Tyme Restaurant retains oodles of atmospheric character, charm and homeliness. Looking out onto sloping lawns and lazily rustling trees, diners here enjoy quality cuisine created using local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. We are proud of our carefully selected and varied wine list which accompanies Tyme’s excellent food and the Restaurant will cater for special dietary requests and tastes wherever possible and when known in advance.

Lovely location, great views and ambience. Menu was varied and focused on local and in season ingredients. Presentation was good, however, flavour was lacking, and my venison was not cooked very well, asked for medium rare got medium well done. Wine selection was good and relatively inexpensive. Overall OK but disappointing in food content.
