Over dit restaurant

Lekker buiten eten
Juweeltje in de wijk
Kindvriendelijk

NO BOOKING REQUIRED FOR WEEKDAY BREAKFAST & LUNCH.

The vision for Urban Ground Mordialloc started back in 2017, with the intent of capturing an industrial area and turning it into a garden oasis, with a sustainable perspective and approach to the environment.

Urban Ground encapsulates, street food, culture, craft & community. The outdoor space will feature a weekly rotation of food trucks and vendors, with room for up to 6 trucks at any one time.

Our open air beer garden is animal friendly, with close to 1000 indigenous plants local to the area as well as fruit trees and botanicals which are used in the Distillery.

As well as our indoor bar and seating area we have an undercover outdoor area, with plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained.

Really great place to meet up with friends and enjoy. I missed the calamari van from last time but enjoyed the Vietnamese truck food instead. Really disappointed we couldn’t get a coffee at 3pm on a Sunday as the coffee machine had been cleaned. Was looking forward to smashing lots of doughnuts with a hot coffee.

Easy booking service and love the variety of the food trucks. Just suggest that you don't order too late after some trucks run out after 8.

As always, good food trucks (even if one was missing that was announced on website for that night), good beers, great ambient. Patrons and staff no masks indoors, which was a bit confusing. Nevertheless, we love that place in our neighbourhood :)

Found the place to be loud and very active on a Saturday night. We enjoyed the food and drink and intend to return in the near future with friends.

Booked for 5 and should’ve been 7 My error but was accomodated really well by friendly staff The thing is that a booking for 5 was placed on a small square table for 4, got sorted and placed on a larger table next to playground…all good Food and atmosphere awesome and will be back
