    Our server was wonderful and very accommodating. We ordered the french onion soup which is the absolute best. The issue came with our dinners. It took 40 minutes for the food to make it to our table. My husband had the duck and the fat wasn’t rendered so it was overly fatty. I ordered the crispy salmon which came not crispy and over cooked. Definitely not a recommend for us.

    Overall it was a lovely experience. Service was so so, but waiter was pleasant. No refill of water. Food was ok, not great. Companion’s food order was incomplete. No chicken on salad. Almost empty room. Somewhat chilly.

    The only complain we have is that we had to wait about 15 minutes at the door to be seated, but there was a large party in front of us that was being helped so we understand. But we were late for our reservation because of it. Thankfully there was still space for us, so we were able to be seated. Service from Cassidy was phenomenal, the food tasted like there was a garden right out back. 10/10 recommend and will be coming back hopefully soon!

    Lovely restaurent! Service is very good and a reasonable price. 2 of us ate there and had the pork. One meal was cooked perfectly and tender the other one was over cooked and tough. We will go back.

    45 minutes before ours drinks were delivered. Only one bar tender. Halibut was full of bones. The salmon and short ribs were delicious.

    Although I have not had positive experiences at this restaurant previously my sister and I decided to give it another try since it is so convenient to the Palladium. I would’ve given it four stars but my sister’s food was cold. I had the chicken Provencal, which was actually quite good And she had short ribs which she said would’ve been really good but even the plate was cold which tells you how cold the food was. At least it was an improvement over the last few times we’ve been there.

    Very beautiful restaurant. Servers were very kind but food was slow and day time manager could have been a lot more friendly. We were also charged 22% gratuity automatically and for items we didn’t not consume that were later taken off. Food was good but the total experience was not worth the price we paid for lunch.

    Last year we visited Vivante for their Thanksgiving buffet and were so pleased that we tried a again this year. We were not disappointed. The traditional Turkey was good but we both preferred the sliced roast beef. The shrimp and oysters were very good. I don’t often get raw oysters and found them to be a treat. We had a bottle of a French red blend that was very nice and each tried both the cherry and pecan pie which were both delicious. I’m sure we’ll be back to order off the menu.

    The food we had was excellent, but unfortunately the service was lacking. No one really checked on drinks, I got the wrong order, they did correct that, and I guess they assumed we didn’t want dessert.

    A most enjoyable dining experience with excellent service and excellent cuisine! My halibut dinner and its presentation was outstanding…. very delicious. Our wine selections were also wonderful. The atmosphere is lovely ….pleasant and relaxing. We highly recommend Vivante.

    The food was outstanding, such a beautiful presentation and service was so prompt. Despite there being a large private service nearby, we received our appetizers and were indulging in the charcuterie board, crab cakes, and fresh bread when our entrees arrived. We had the cognacs short ribs and pesto. We followed that with the chocolate entrement and apple cider brûlée. The restaurant is so beautiful and has a private ambiance. Everything tasted so fresh. It was perfect to take my family for a celebration.

    Our party of 4 arrived around 6pm for our 6:15pm reservation and was asked if we would like a table or a booth so we took a table next to the kitchen door. A gentleman was seated next to us at a 2-top. Our server was sweet and made great small talk with members of our party. She took our drink order and we had tap water. I ordered a glass of the Lambrusco wine and I asked if the wine could be freshly opened because I liked the bubbles. She said it would be served in a champagne flute glass-I was shocked! Lambrusco is a full bodied wine that is served in a Pinot noir glass. (by the way, there was no Pinot noir from Willemette valley). The “french” entrees were duck and a vegetarian confit. Ravioli and pesto were on the menu and halibut or salmon. I did not see trout almondine or any french prepared fish on the menu. For a “french” eatery the selection is very limited. We got bread after our second glass of water. The gentleman next to us was served and had his bill and we were still waiting for our entrees. The pasta pesto arrived barely warm and the chicken on top was over salted and dry. The halibut was over cooked with dots of beets on the plate. We prefer french fare so we’ll stick to our only french restaurant choice- Auberge in Zionsville.

    We dined at Vivante during our Anniversary trip. The drinks were good, but despite the restaurant not being busy, it took forever for my husband to get another as we watched it sit and get warm. The fig appetizer needed more cheese and maybe a piece of toast/bread/cracker to spread the fig and cheese onto. My husband absolutely loved his quail, he practically cleaned it to the bone. However, his accompanying mashed potatoes were tasteless, and begged for salt. He also didn't care for the hard as a rock broccolini. My duck was excellent as were the accompanying veg, would have loved a large scoop of the carrot puree instead of a swipe. They gave us a small chocolate cake for our anniversary, the cake itself was as dry as the Sahara, but my husband found the buttercream one of the tastiest that he's ever had. The real star of the evening was the dessert that I ordered, the pumpkin soufflé. This is a flavor we had not had as a soufflé before, and it was amazing. Our waitress was wonderful, no complaints. All together, not really a bad meal, but as others have said, just minor tweaks would have made it better.

    This was a great place to eat before attending a show at the Palladium. We started off with the carrot salad and brûléed figs. Both were different and excellent. For main courses my wife had the pork medallions and I had the short rib. Both were perfectly prepared. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse type of thing, I don’t remember the exact name, and the pumpkin soufflé. We thoroughly enjoyed both and thought it was all great

    Food good. Wait staff tasked with other duties so not attentive. Arrived to empty dining room and wait staff sent to do other tasks. Basically took order, runner dropped and 30 minutes later server stopped back. Not really a French restaurant. Spoke to manager and she seemed receptive to feedback.

    We have dined at Vivante several times - it is always good. This time we had an odd experience. When we arrived for our reservation there was only one other table seated. We were taken to a table that had the sun directly shining in our eyes. Because of this we asked to be moved. The waitress argued with us and kept telling us that no matter here we were seated the sun would b in our eyes. Luckily the manager was helpful and moved us. We ended up having a different waitress, Kaley (not a Karen), who was awesome!

    More tapas than a meal, despite the meal pricing. There wasn't much planning around providing salad, vegetables with the entree, etc. On the plus side, elegant and relaxing.

    Second time going for brunch. They have a great brunch menu and everything from pastries to benedicts is very good. A bargain compared to dinner. The issue this time was with the service. Started off great — the host had noted my special occasion and requests. As soon as we sat down we were asked if we’d like coffee. It took more than 20 mins for coffee to arrive. Clearly the person who sat us had forgotten and the server had to confirm whether or not we would like some. Then there was further delay. Service overall was very slow. When we finally got food, we had no silverware. Our server said they would bring some right away, then went around to other tables first and at least 5 mins later actually brought the silverware. Another server had noticed the problem and brought us some sooner, thankfully, since we were sitting outside and food could’ve gotten cold. It took so long to process our check that we went inside to the bar to pay. Overall a simple brunch for two people took about an hour and 20 mins. Wish the quality of the restaurant was matched in level of service.
