Wanderlust Wine Co. is currently the largest wine on tap winery in Texas that also allows patrons to serve themselves at their own pace, charging them only for the ounces they pour! Some refer to us as the Froyo or Dave & Busters of wine. Our selection of wines also includes Ciders, Meads, Sakes, and Wine-Based Cocktails. Our Wine Wednesday specials are fan favorites, as all of our wines on tap are 50% off throughout the day, and our daily Tappy Hours (3 PM - 6 PM) is the next best thing with 30% off all wines on tap, including food specials from The Heel of the Boot. Live Music and Entertainment is also something that can be found throughout most days of the week, and monthly events include Yoga, Health & Wellness, Art Shows & Workshops, and Comedy Specials. Paid parking is available all around the winery, starting at $5, and our patio is pet-friendly.     What a fun place to enjoy wine and the company of your friends/family. We went here on the first night of a girls trip and spent a few hours here. We loved being able to sample as many wines as we wanted to, and then have more of what we liked. We got food from the truck outside and it was amazing! My daughter is gluten free so it was a treat for her to have pasta with the rest of us since they had a gluten free option as well. The staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. We happened to be there on a night when they had stand-up comedy. It was a fun twist on our night as well. I would definitely recommend Wanderlust Wines and would love to come back on a future trip to Austin.

    We made a reservation for my friends birthday. Wanderlust staff called to confirm my reservation the day before and we confirmed it. When we all got there 10 minutes early, they said they no longer did reservations and already gave our reserved table of 6 to 2 people. The staff said we could stand and wait for another table, or find one ourselves. If they no longer take reservations, hopefully nobody else will run into this problem, but we will not be back at this location, sadly. The wine is very good and the band was awesome, they just have poor customer service.

    Love Wanderlust! Wednesday’s can be a little crazy, but the deal can’t be beat. The Heel of the Boot is super convenient and the outdoor space is nice and distanced.

    Great experience! My boyfriend and I came here during our weekend trip to Austin. Fun to try out all the different wines and having a spending card made it so much easier and convenient. Will be back again!

    Loved my first visit here! Everyone had masks on when at the pouring wall, seating areas inside were plenty spaced apart and super comfortable. Happy hour pricing was a great deal when you think about how much a glass of wine is at a typical bar anyway. Liked being able to try a taste to decide on a full glass. The truffle fries from The Heel of the Boots truck were to die for. We’ll definitely be going back!!

    We came to The Heel of the Boot with high expectations after reading all the reviews. I gave them a 4 star because the flavor was on point but the noodles were kind of hard. We ended up not staying to dine in the outdoor seating area available due to too many people. The decor was really nice and gave off a cool vibe. Would recommend but might be best to taste your food before you leave.

    Really fun concept with a lot of different wine options. East to try new wines and experiment. Food truck was Italian. Decent but not amazing. Definitely would go back - just wish they allowed you stay at your table for longer than 90 mins! Hopefully that ends when covid restrictions do.

    It was closed!!!!! We paid to uber there and showed up in the cold weather to a closed restaurant. This is on OpenTable and Wanderlust. Please update the hours! I bet the experience would have been amazing if it had been open.
