There were 4 of us. The meal started out GREAT!!! Amuse bouche was a nice surprise and tasty. The 3 breads and salted butter or unsalted butter were very good. The 1st course of shrimp fried rice was good/different. We all got that. The 2nd course was split … majority of us got the kale salad; except for 1 who got the smoked carrots. We all tried the carrots and thought they were a bit too smoky. The main meal was a bit of a disappointment. I got the salmon. I didn’t care that much for the sauce that it was served with. But it was on the side … so you didn’t have to use it. The other 3 got the short rib. They thought there was too much fat and not enough meat. The 4th course was ice cream or sorbet for dessert. There was a nice selection to choose from. Our waitress was excellent. Very professional, attentive and helpful.

Unique and excellent tasting experience. Everything we had was fantastic and wasn't anything that we have had previously anywhere. While we have had octopus, pork and short ribs before, never with the flavor and tenderness.

Disappointed given the reviews and the hype. Went to celebrate my birthday; they were nice enough to reach out earlier to ask whose birthday it was, 'to make it more special." The restaurant itself and the staff are lovely. Despite it being a Saturday night, it was half empty (not exaggerating) - and yet it took us over an hour to get our appetizers AND drinks. Yet there were three servers available for our table... Next, the food was hit and miss (not really any hits to be honest). Tuna tartare had a strange flavor - not bad as in not fresh, just the flavor was off. Foie gras came with a Nutella sauce which did not work, and I find that a hard result to achieve given the main ingredient. The rest of the dishes (pork, venison) were not memorable. The tastiest item we had was the amuse-bouche, shrimp ceviche on a cracker.... To make the whole occasion funnier, the 'birthday special' was a printed menu of our dinner with my name on it.

We enjoyed the four course meal available on Groupon. Each dish was thoughtfully curated and presented. We enjoyed all of it immensely. We highly recommend Yonos for the experience and unique flavors.

This is by far one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The restaurant itself was beautiful. The staff were friendly, polite and knowledgeable. They were able to accommodate my allergy without an issue. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. We were also given a complimentary glass of champagne. I will 100% be going back

It is so sad that this is an end of an era. My husband and I spent every major moment at that restaurant. Toasting successes, anniversaries, Valentines Days. It used to be an experience dining at Yono's. The food and service used to be unmatched. You would recognize the waiters, who were there for years. A sign of a really well-run establishment. I understand it is under new management and it shows. On a Saturday night, there were only 3 tables dining, and only one waitress fighting for her life. It took so long to take a drink order, we didn't get our bread until after our main courses arrived, and the quality of the food was not to the level that it used to be. Fortunately, they predicted our displeasure and took 20% off our bill without us asking. We noticed the other tables leaving with a similar sense of "what did I just pay for?" This restaurant was our culinary sanctuary. The gold standard of dining. We will always cherish those wonderful memories.

I went for the tasting menu of 7 courses. 3 hrs later I had had only 3. Tgey were forgettable, the oysters were warm. They had no foie gras and subbed lobster fried rice. It was greasy and there was no lobster. When the 4th dish came it was completely inedible - weird tasting “suckling pig” - and greasy falling apart wet lumpia. Oh and the plating was non-existent - some of the most unattractive food I have been served in a restaurant. I left at that point.

We arrived at 5:20 for a 5:30 reservation with 8PM show tickets at CapRep. Plenty of time to dine and a leisurely pace. We were seated promptly, and the dining room was empty. We reviewed the menu, asked the waitress (who was working solo it seemed) some questions. Decided to order ala carte for time purposes. Ordered wine, which took a while, ordered apps and dinner and were told 2 things we were looking forward to were not available. Ordered dinner. Appetizer was tasty, had 2 different options, the focaccia was a bit stale. We waited quite a long time for dinner service and were then informed they had a large "take out order" holding up the kitchen. Finally got dinner at 6:50, it was tasty but not overwhelming...skipped dessert, no time.

This was my first experience at the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was. We tried the four course dinner and overall it was very enjoyable. My favorite course was the appetizer and my second favorite course was the incredible s'mores bread pudding. The staff is very nice as well and there was parking outside to make it easy! I would highly recommend this restaurant! They do have a chef's tasting course, which is much longer as well as individual entrées that that can be purchased. I did notice they have an extensive Wine list!
