   On paper it look a good menu, reality it was very poor. It says a lot when the best thing was Tatties Bravas but even they had cheese on then( no mention on menu). The grease proof paper in the Brisket Bon Bon was an interesting addition to a really poor dish. Deep fried Calamari was dusted with Chinese 5 spice (it doesn’t work). I would like to thank the young lady that was working all the tables on her own, thank you ! (Soz couldn’t remember your name)

   Our 3rd visit on Friday, never disappoints. Food was lovely, great value for money. Special mention to the lady who was working alone.. tending to tables, taking orders and running the bar...all with a big smile on her face. Sorry, I didn't catch her name. Will definitely be back next time we visit Harrogate.

   Great twist on multicultural dishes and such a large variety. The fried prawns were delicious as was the Yorkshire Pudding with beef. Great live music downstairs too.

   The food is tasty, hot, and presented well. The food is served in a tiny portion, however sharing is advised, so it makes sense. And those who find it difficult to choose will love it. We particularly adore the Yorkshire pudding, where the delicate beef melts in your mouth with the creamy mashed potatoes. We arrived at the restaurant around noon, which was upstairs from the bar and just so happened to have a live band playing on the ground floor. If you're looking for a quiet lunch, I wouldn't suggest going here. But, I must admit that the live band is extremely outstanding!I will surely find a chance to come again at night.

   First time visiting here and from the minute we walked in to the minute we left, we were made to feel very welcome! Food was top notch as was the beer! Excellent band playing rock music until the early hours. Will most definitely be back!

   Not what we were expecting at all. A few tables tucked upstairs above the Blues Bar. Tapas we chose was very disappointing. Soggy Yorkshire pudding with ‘wet’ pulled beef that was tasteless and the presentation was awful; over cooked king prawns; belly pork that was ok. Service was ok apart from the barman disappearing off to find out what beers they had on, never to return! Overall very disappointing!

    A friend and I had a lovely lunch,I was met by a very friendly manner of staff who sat me at a table looking out of the window which was great for people watching! The food was delicious and mulled wine really warmed me up. I would definitely go back

    Great food and good service, just a shame that they called us after we left to say we hadn’t paid, obviously we had but because there was no one to pay upstairs where we ate I paid at the bar on our way out. They didn’t even apologize so very poor after service.

    Our great experience was totally made by Dean! From the minute we walked in, through menu choice, great cocktails and surprise birthday treat! Super friendly and attentive! Also knew where to send us afterwards. Other staff members were also attentive and friendly. Thank you, this was a great experience and start to our night out in Harrogate.

    Cracking venue, unfortunately the band weren't on until 9.30pm, but that's not a criticism. Food was great, recommend the ribs, calamari, sausages..everything!!

    Excellent small portion choices for sharing if you don't want to be overwhelmed with big plates, you can also add as and when, should you require any more. The pricing on the bill was split regarding drink and food cost which I thought was very good

    The food and service were outstanding; really amiable, knowledgeable and attentive staff. All the tapas we had were nicely thought out, well cooked and very tasty. The dining space was a bit awkward with very high backed booths and lots of limboing and snaking round the table and to get access to the toilets.The music was great too but access up and down the stairs was very crowded.

    Great service we could sit upstairs or downstairs to eat. The food service was good and quick. Best to order 5 to 6 dishes to fully enjoy the meal. Will return again when next visiting Harrogate.

    We were attracted by the novelty of Yorkshire tapas and the photos online looked good but the choice of ingredients and the quality of the food didn’t meet expectations. The Yorkshire pudding was burnt. A real shame.

    Our second visit to the Blues Bar and it didn’t disappoint. It was much less busy on the Wednesday we dined. (Last time was v busy on a Friday night) The food was scrumptious. After we had eaten we wandered down stairs and listened to some live blues. A perfect evening for our visit to Harrogate!

    As soon as we arrived having booked on Opentable we were well looked after and offered the option to sit downstairs or upstairs in the tapas restaurant We chose to sit downstairs as we were also here to listen to the blues music and wanted to ensure we had a table and chairs for the show. ( though am sure now they would have found a way to sort that if we had gone upstairs) The service was excellent and the place had a great vibe .. The waiter ensured we were set up perfectly on the table for our food ..food was your typical tapas but that is perfect for the venue Music fantastic and so great to listen to live music by local working bands Fantastic place for night out. Great value for money

    The venue was smaller than expected but we secured a window seat, and enjoyed a super date night with you! food was excellent. Staff were friendly - I would say new and maybe a little inexperienced but none the less polite and helpful! live music too - we will definitely call again if we are in the area!

    I love this restaurant above the blues bar. I wish they would employ more waiting staff as attention is lacking when they're busy. The food is great - put a decent cheese board on too and it would be excellent. There isn't a wine list - you just say if you want red or white and they give you the grape varieties - no prices. A wine list would be far better. Won't put me off going again though. I love the banquettes and the food is just yummy.

    So disappointing. Been in bar loads of times and fancied eating here. Yorkshire tapas available from 12pm so we booked mid afternoon. Seemed staff were unaware they had a booking Upstairs bar was closed but a staff member eventually arrived and took order. Food took nearly 40 mins to arrive and was either from the night before or had been under the lamps for ages.....however we ate it and it was quite flavoursome. In future we ll stick to watching bands downstairs

    The restaurant was short staffed - the poor girl was run ragged, tried her best to cope had to wait for drinks and the food was stood around getting cooler Food was at the best average Why does the menu say for 2 people order 6/7 courses and quite a bit of the food is served usually in 3 pieces (for 2 people)
