ZERU is a brand new fine dining restaurant that allows you to travel from Basque Region to Mediterranean.
Our seafood menu includes some of the best Josper grilled fish dish, Mediterranean rice, few meat options for steak lovers, and an extensive wine selection.

We are located on 1395 Brickell Ave across the Aka Hotel Building. (Valet Parking available.)

My wife and I had Thanksgiving lunch at Zeru yesterday and it was a great experience. Five course meal with wine pairings. Wonderful food, service and ambiance. It was quiet because of Thanksgiving but such great food, drinks and service that we highly recommend this restaurant.

Very disappointed. It started with us ordering drinks and champagne and asking not to open champagne until we finish our drinks. Of course, the champagne was opened at the same time our drinks arrived. The martinis were very watery and we had to send them back. The soccarat with wagyu was not nice - little strips of wagui were very fatty. The crab leg was heavily breaded. The service was very eager but very inexperienced.

Excellent service, the whole staff was very attentive, professional and courteous. The food was quite good, although we thought the arroz meloso was a bit salty. I definitely recommend this restaurant, we had a great experience.

Es la segunda vez que voy , y me encanta el lugar el trato y sobre todo la comida , el Pulpo es riquísimo el arroz de vegetales para que decir , en fin me encanta todo , lo recomiendo a que vallan .

The food was truly remarkable. It was well prepared and delicious. All the plates had the essences of the region. The presentation was well organized and done professionally. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I would return for another great meal.

This is a 5 stars experience. The food quality and preparation is outstanding. My only observation is that in my opinion, the socarrat for two is not really enough for two persons. Beside this observation, I can tell that everything is amazing. The service is top of the line, the food is extremely good and the palce is very nice. We were a group of 4. For starters we had "Pata negra and parmesan croquettes", "Bonito tuna, anchovies and avocado montaditos" and "Pata negra platter (half order)". Everything good but Pata Negra and montaditos were extremely good. For main courses we had "Wild baby squid, prawns in sepia ink socarrat" and "Japanese Kobe and organic vegetables mellow rice". Both were amazing but the socarrat was one of the best thing I have tested, sadly, I think it was short for two. We had three deserts but for sure the best one was the Manchego dessert with ice cream. Add two bottles of Albarino wine and it was an amazing experience. Sadly, I dont remember the names of our serves but they both were great. The lady, specially, was super proffessional and made great recomendations.

Zeru is promising in concept but the execution leaves something to be desired. Online reviews score the restaurant highly, but our experience was more like Ryan Pfeffer's. The service, food, and experience do not add up to the cost. The service was disappointing and a mandatory 20% gratuity is added automatically. We had to wait for the cocktails (which came after the appetizers), wait for the bill, and a server bumped into my chair over 10 times. When thanked for service, the staff simply didn't respond. This is nothing like a premium experience the restaurant positions itself as. The food was not special. We ordered three appetizers and two mains. We would recommend none of them. They were by no means bad but there are better alternatives. The dining room had a fun vibe and is a nice atmosphere but by the end of the evening the techno music had worn on us.

I loved Zeru. The place is beautiful, and not too loud, which is a relief, but still felt festive and lively. The service was excellent, and so was the food. We had the croquetas with pata negra; octopus gallega; branzino; sardines; crema catalana; and a couple of other things. Everything was delicious. The crema was light and fluffy, different from the traditional texture. I would love to go back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. It was my first time there and enjoyed the meal and the service. The desert was outstanding, and the food was well prepared. I do, however, wish that the quality of the food was more plentiful. The price was reasonable, but I think more would have been satisfying.

The ambiance of the restaurant is contemporary and classical at the same time, where our table was dominated by a gigantic replica of Velazquez’ Las Meninas , with graffiti on it . The food was superb , although a bit overpriced . Started with txangurro (crab dip) which , although delicious, lacked the succulent crab morsels . This was accompanied by thin slices of bread to dip with , but given the size of the dip, there was no enough crostini . Another appetizer was the cod stuffed piquillo peppers which were velvety and flavorful. The fish( 2.5 lb dover sole) was properly cooked but at $56/lb , a bit overpriced . The socarrat came with shrimp , thinly sliced calamari, and mussels , in black ink was delicious but could have had more of the seafood and more crispness associated with typical socarrat. The patatas bravas portion was good and they were cooked to perfection . Overall, an outstanding dinner and service .

Delicious food, but the place is super cold. We asked the server and manager if AC can be set up at least one degree higher, but our inquiries were ignored. All ladies of our group wanted to dress nice and ended up freezing. Other than that the food was good, service also good.

This is modern Spanish food in Miami....Their rice dishes are incredible and healthy and the croquetas are to die for. The meat was on point and the manchego cheese suffle was awesome. Loved the high-end touch where the chef sends you enticing tid bits from the kitchen.
