Italian restaurant chain Zizzi opened the doors of its very first branch in London's Chiswick in 1999. Now there are over 100 branches, all decorated in an appealing contemporary style. Wood-fired ovens, open kitchens and modern interior design with locally influenced art features make for a vibrant atmosphere. As for the food, they serve up a variety of traditional Italian dishes including all the usual suspects: salads, antipasti, pasta, pizza, calzone, risotto as well as fish and meat mains and desserts. What Zizzi really pride themselves on is sourcing good quality ingredients; salads are dressed with white balsamic vinegar from Modena, for example, and offer Goddess Olives, a variety known for their firm flesh and nutty flavour. The modestly priced wine list is dominated by Italian wines, starting at £13.45 for a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The décor in the Tower Hill branch of Zizzi reflects the royal history of the area; the walls are adorned with images of the Tower itself, and i

The waiter, can't remember his name but it was late afternoon on 16th February at the one near Tower Hill, gave us very good and friendly service. I think looked Mediterranean, had a ponytail. Hope he gets some recognition!

Good value and fairly child friendly. the booking was for a different branch, which was quite confusing when we turned up at the Start Katherine docks branch! They accommodated us however which was very kind, esp as we had hungry young children. The service was little slow at times... and the waiter was rather abrupt sometimes... but it was a good value and consistent quality for the food.

Absolutely awful !! Booked a table then was turned away !! Staff were rude and could not handle anything. Should just shut it down if they can not handle the amount of customers coming through the door.

Love sitting outside at the Zizzi tower hill! It's situated in St Katherine docks right by the water, so the location is beautiful especially in summer!

I go here a lot for lunch as I work nearby. Bit noisy as it echo's, but food is nice and staff friendly enough. Price is very reasonable and good veggie options. They mix it up with seasonal food/drink specials which is good also. One of my go-to places.
