   We took our friends from Alabama here for Sunday brunch. We had heard that it was nice. It was raining a little so we weren’t able to sit on the outdoor patio, which was a little bummer because the garden is absolutely beautiful. The quail and grits appetizer was delicious! All enjoyed it. Everyone had a different entree and each pleased with their choice. We will definitely return.

   If yall come to Houston this place is an absolute MUST!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! We couldn't get in last night for dinner so we came today for brunch! It was absolutely beautiful! The hostess was very sweet and our waiter, Russell, was phenomenal!! He was so friendly, gave us a little history about the place, and also mentioned I made the best choices when I ordered 😅😁 they also brought out homemade chocolate chip mini muffins and bacon cheddar Biscuits, awesome! I got the fried texas quail bites over white cheddar grits & bourbon bacon gravy and the warm Italian burrata with olive oil, sea salt, balsamic figs, crispy shallots, toasted ciabatta and OHMYLANTA😍🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 Everything was absolutely AMAZING!!! Husband got the chicken fried venison, SOOOO tender and delicious! And the kids got brioche French toast with caramelized bananas, walnuts, warm maple syrup, & peppered bacon. That bacon was the best bacon I've ever had! A really nice smokey flavor! This is easily probably the best meal I've ever had! Will definitely be back to try dinner! You guys, I can't encourage yall enough to try this place!!! (The French toast comes with 2 pieces but my other child already took his for his plate before I could get a pic of the whole dish 🤣)

   We had dinner at Rainbow Lodge with family after our daughter’s bridal shower. All aspects of the dining experience was fabulous. Such a great venue and the ambience is incredible.

   Food was excellent. The antelope was melt in your mouth. The rainbow trout was perfect. The bison carpaccio....was not our cup of tea unfortunately. My only real complaint was the constant moving of chairs by staff at tables close to ours. Bringing more chairs, moving chairs to other tables. Wasn't exactly the quiet atmosphere I was looking for on our date night. Food was great though. I would definitely recommend but please be more mindful of guests and their needs.

   Anytime I have a reason to head into town, I try to find an excuse to visit Rainbow Lodge. I'm not sure if it is the ambiance or the service that complements their menu more, but, I promise, you will be having conversations about your dining experience, their eclectic menu, and the atmosphere. Rainbow Lodge is a rare treat, and an unforgettable dining experience.

   Everything was good however the service could have been a tad faster. This is only because there was one bartender/waiter for our section which seemed understaffed. He did good given the circumstances!

   young family two tables from us made for a noisier than normal dining experience. The food was good but I felt the portions were on the small side for the money. Also, my dinner, which was the mixed grill plate was only warm, not hot. The restaurant ambiance was very nice and wait staff friendly but professional.

    Rainbow Lodge has a delightful quiet atmosphere that so many nice restaurants are missing today. Our service was wonderful. We had a relaxed dining experience and were never rushed. We were celebrating an anniversary and received a complementary dessert and well wishes from our server at the end of a very nice meal.

    The food is always a hit here. We have gone 2 years in a row for my fiancés birthday!! It is pricey but worth it for what you get. Especially if you go with the wild game to switch it up.

    This is my new favorite restaurant. We took friends who were visiting from out of state and felt very proud to share such a fine experience with them. The food was amazing, the atmosphere very inviting, and the service was top-notch. I am so glad we ordered a variety of dishes because they were all delicious in their own way. We will definitely return because I want to try Sunday brunch.

    As an international visitor to the restaurant, we experienced a very loud, more than present waiter, which we experienced as very annoying and disturbing. Would advise training your staff to be more humble and moderate... The food was OK, but the price-quality was out of balance.

    Worst excuse for trout I’ve ever had. The waiter said they leave the skin on the bottom and the menu said stuffed blue crab, but I got was 3 thin filets that tasted and looked like it came from HEB with about a spoonful of blue crab on top. It tasted bland and definitely wasn’t fresh. I couldn’t finish it

    We had a delicious dinner and fun birthday celebration. The service was great and the variety of meats was amazing. Even our vegetarians were happy with the beetroot fusili. The restaurant is quite pricey, but the ambiance is worth it for special occasions. We’ll definitely be back

    We loved our table for 4 overlooking the main dining area. It was private and quieter for conversation. We took lovely pictures in the outdoor area. We enjoyed our seafood entrees and great service. Thank you!

    The server scripted us an off the menu tomahawk ribeye for 2. It was delicious. Drinks were great, server very attentive! Great place to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion!

    I booked the Lodge for my girlfriend’s birthday dinner. The ambiance is quite nice, with a unique split level layout, making it definitely feel like a lodge. We had what must be the World’s loudest woman at the table next to us, so it was a little hard to gauge normal noise levels (no fault of the restaurant!) The food was solid. Appetizers and dessert were the standouts as they were fantastic - especially the crab cake. The main courses were good, but we weren’t blown away. Just decent food. The service was good. We couldn’t say it was anything special but no major complaints, other than that we felt very rushed out of there at the end of our dinner. My girlfriend literally gave up eating and let them take her plate after four requests to do so in a row. The check was put on the table right at the start of the dessert and the waiter checked it twice to see if the card was in there before we even finished. Overall decent place but can’t say it will be top of the list to return to soon.

    OMG What a gem Houston has. The food was excellent, the ambiance was excellent, the presentation was excellent, the service was excellent. We came for our anniversary and was a little worried when I saw the table was in the corner. However, it was the corner of the window overlooking the landscaping below. Each of us faced a window for easy view.
