   Get the Vegetarian Tasting Plate. Vegetarian or not, it is EXQUISITE and balanced in a multitude of ways. All of the food was incredible, but that took our breath away.

   Vegetarian tasting plate was so special and delicious, not an afterthought like many vegetarian entrees. The restaurant felt cozy and calm even though tables were full and it was a Saturday night. Birthday dessert was delicious

   Our first time and we truly loved the experience at all levels. The place is beautifully minimalistic with warm colors, interesting objects fill the tables, the Martin-Is are unique and a must, the food delicious and original, the service outstanding. Meeting Chef Martin and his wife Jennifer simply topped it all, wonderful people! Restaurant Martin is a new favorite!

   It's your regular fine dining experience, nothing too spectacular for the cost. No true Santa Fe local flair we were looking for and thought we would get. Also, it doesn't appear that there is a sommelier on staff and the servers did not know much about wine pairings. Know before you go!

   Have been a long time supporter of Restaurant Martin. Service was very good, but not having call liquors seems to be a miss. The octopus and mac and cheese were amazing, while the duck was flavorful, but tough and hard to eat.

    It was our wedding anniversary so I called ahead and asked for a nice table and glasses of champagne. All was beautifully taken care of even the dessert plate with happy anniversary scrolled in chocolate. The dinner was delicious- one of our best ever. We couldn’t have been happier

    Restaurant Week menu, all three courses - Caesar salad, salmon, apple tart - were wonderful. Cocktails, made with New Mexico spirits, were surprisingly good. Our waitress, Brooke, was very nice and efficient, around when we wanted something but did not hover. Overall a very good dining experience.

    Disappointing. After a delicious soup start my steak was tough and gristly and the sides were very small. Extra $3 per person for bread is ridiculous. Dinner was it worth the $$$$

    Every meal I have had at Martins has been exquisite. The ingredients are varied and stand alone but in wonderful combination with ingredients as a whole. When Restaurant Week came around I invited 8 others to experience Martin's skill. All 9 of us were completely amazed with all courses. Thank you!

    we visited during restaurant week-food was good, but a bit too precious for me- mushroom oyster soup was delicious as was the salmon and apple tart; staff did not magnate to serve our table of 4 each course at the same time; we waited for the remains first courses to arrive, and even longer for two of our four desserts to arrive. There is not much "ambiance--very plain rooms, with ok lighting--tables are VERY close together.

    Restaurant Martin has been consistently excellent since it's inception. Valentine's dinner was no exception. Considering the prix fixed menu, there were more than enough choices to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. I began my 'adventure' with a crabmeat salad which came beautifully plated (no surprise), followed by sea bass and a berry dessert. Everything was as pleasing to the eye as to the palette. My husband enjoyed oyster bisque, rack of lamb (a more than generous portion) and a very chocolaty dessert....all presented flawlessly and served by attentive...but not too attentive...wait staff. Chef Martin Rios has been a James Beard finalist for 10 years. I think it's time for the big prize!

    The food was terrific though pricey with a wide variety of choices on the Valentines Day fixed price menu. It was rather annoying to have a heavily priced meal charge extra for bread and side dishes. It was also disappointing that all the desserts contained nuts despite how common nut allergies are. Our waitress was abrupt, poorly communicative, and absent for most of the meal making the mandatory 20% service charge a very poor value for our money.

    Brilliant work by the chef, superb service (the wait staff here is well-trained), creative cocktails by expert mixologist. Restaurant Martin is at the very top for a great gourmet experience in Santa Fe.

    Chef Martin has been our favorite chef since we moved to Santa Fe in 1994 - when he was at the Hotel Eldorado (I think I have the hotel correct). We have been delighted that he now has his own restaurant. Our children (from Hong Kong and Seattle) look forward to going when they visit Santa Fe and they are never disappointed.

    We’re local and have enjoyed Restaurant Martin over the years. Our meal was fine but nothing great about it. We had eaten at Geronimo the week prior and enjoyed that dining experience much more. The music playing was loud and quite distracting from a relaxing dining experience. Our service was sub par. We’ll look elsewhere when we go out for dinner next time.

    As always, the food was superb. We had the duck and the filet Mignon. Both practically melted in your mouth. We make sure to have dinner here at least once when we visit Santa Fe.

    For our anniversary and NYE we booked dinner at Restaurant Martin. We were able to sit in the annex building which was delightful and the view of their garden was incredibly romantic. The staff congratulated us on our anniversary, they knew the menu inside and out, and were attentive but never overbearing. The food was phenomenal. Holy moly it was so freakin good. We got the duck and the beef tenderloin. Both were cooked to perfection. Can’t say enough good things. If you’re in Santa Fe for a special occasion you should 100% eat here.

    We ate here on our first night in Santa Fe, and this restaurant has sent a very high bar for any place we dine over the next successive evenings. Each course was beautifully presented, flavor-filled and delicious, complimented by excellent timing from by our server. We also found the ambience to be very warm and relaxing. Highly recommended!
