Bavarian Point

Over dit restaurant

Bavarian Point restaurant brings a little taste of Europe to America. This cozy and relaxed restaurant gives diners a unique chance to feast on iconic German Bavarian fare while surrounded by servers wearing traditional garb. Even the meals are listed in German, with English translations helpfully provided. Appetizers like goulash soup, herring, frogs legs and sauerkraut get diners off to the right start. Bavarian Point's main dishes include breaded orange roughy with German potato salad, beer-battered shrimp and salmon in a light wine sauce. There is an impressive variety of delicious house specialties, such as cordon blue veal, wiener schnitzel and zwiebelrostbraten, which is beef filet served with fried onions, roasted potatoes and red cabbage. For dessert, try palatschinke (a thin pancake similar to a crepe) or apples in vanilla sauce. Bavarian Point is a wonderful way to "visit" Germany without having to step foot on an airplane.
