Over het restaurant

Scaddabush is Italian slang for “a little bit of everything.” And that describes us best – we’re a little of this, a little of that and a whole new take on Italian. We’re inspired by Italian passion and generosity. We like tables crowded with friends and family. Style without attitude. And of course, excellent cuisine. In true Italian fashion, we rely on fresh ingredients. Our approach to cooking starts with a very simple rule: anytime we can make it ourselves, we do. It’s an Italian thing – and frankly, it’s just more delicious that way. Our hand-stretched mozzarella is made-to-order every day. We also make our own fresh pasta, pizza dough, focaccia bread, sauces and desserts – each and every day.

Over het restaurant

Buon Gusto means ‘good taste’ in Italian. We strive to bring you the ‘good taste’ of Italy in all aspects of our restaurant. Located in the historic Victoria Hotel building in St. George’s Square in Downtown Guelph, Buon Gusto is warm and casual with exposed stone walls and a contemporary interior design. Our wood-burning oven, made in Reggello, Tuscany, is ‘il cuore’ (the heart) of Buon Gusto.

We partner with local food suppliers and artisans to bring the freshest ingredients to your table. While we stay true to the soul of Italian cuisine, using authentic Italian ingredients to preserve its essence, we also celebrate Guelph and Ontario’s rich bounty in our offerings whenever possible.

Nearly everything we serve is made in-house, from our signature pizza dough and focaccia to handmade pastas, fresh burrata, and savoury meatballs. Every week, our talented team of chefs creates exciting daily features, ensuring there’s always something new to discover.
