Come dine in this beautifully restored Uptown restaurant on Magazine Street and enjoy James Beard Award Winning Chef Justin Devillier's contemporary Louisiana Cuisine.The La Petite Grocery name pays homage to the history of its home, a building that’s stood for more than a century. The original structure was built in the late 1800s and called the Central Tea, Coffee and Butter Depot. In 1908, a fire devastated the space and it was transformed into a full service grocery store. Later it was most notably a fine foods and butcher shop, VonderHaar’s Fine Foods until 1982. When La Petite Grocery opened in March of 2004, they similarly aspired to provide the neighborhood with exotic teas, locally roasted coffee, and fresh produce. By doing this, we hope to provide a dining experience that evokes nostalgia of old New Orleans. Reservations are preferred.

Borrowing its name from an influential 1850s-vintage bar in the Central Business District, this pub-like tavern (with courtyard) occupies an old brick Creole cottage in the French Quarter, where well-known local bartender Chris Hannah serves up cocktails both classic and contemporary. Chris Reis runs the kitchen.Accolades include James Beard, World 50 Best, Art of Hospitality, Best Bar South (North America).

Dakar NOLA is a modern Senegalese tasting menu restaurant inspired by Chef Serigne Mbaye’s childhood memories in Dakar, Senegal.Dinner features a pescatarian tasting menu. We are reservation-only, open Tuesday–Saturday, and the experience lasts approximately 2 hours. Our menu changes frequently and is largely dairy- and gluten-free.Reservations open 21 days in advance on a rolling basis at 10am CT.We can accommodate shellfish and peanut allergies if noted when booking, as well as gluten intolerance/allergies. We cannot accommodate allergies to fin fish, soy, shellfish aroma/fumes, allium, or honey. We are unable to accommodate vegan diets or vegetarians who do not eat food prepared with seafood broth.To ensure the flow of service, late arrivals will join the meal at the course currently being served.We can no longer accommodate parties larger than 6 guests in the dining room. August is a Contemporary Creole restaurant creating unique dishes with a focus on Louisiana ingredients and inspired by classical training. Located in a historic 19th century French-Creole building in New Orleans’ Central Business District, the main dining room caters to the most unique dining experience. The interior is rich with original architectural details, gleaming hardwood floors, soaring columns, mahogany paneling and antique mirrors.
