   Food was outstanding and the service at our table was excellent as well. Everything we tried, and we tried a few things, was great. Only thing that I think should be more transparent is when they are out of something. We wanted the whole Snapper and they were out of it. I noticed on the menu on the website it was MARKET PRICE so I tried calling several times on Saturday and Sunday and no one ever answered the phone. ONly received a BOX FULL message. I also tried to email them and ask. The server mentioned coming on Wednesday because they run out on the weekends but we travelled from Silverdale by ferry to eat and that is best for us on the weekends. They should put on the website or answer the phones so people can get updates.

   Octopus was over cooked. Cocktails good and so was the pasta. I had high expectations for the fish but thought it was a little underwhelming. Go for halibut perhaps ? Steelhead was not great

    Amazing meal in wonderful environment. Loved the softer music so we could have conversations. Everyone’s entrees were fixed to perfection. They handled my allergies well. The haddock was perfectly cooked. And the chocolate tart desserts were amazing. Our waiter was superb. We will definitely go back when in town and will be recommending a meal here to our local friends.

    We arrived on time, actually 10 minutes prior to our reservation and were checked in promptly. The food was almost as bad as the service then the restaurant had the audacity to claim we no-showed on our reservation. Do not waste your time or money!!!

    Exceptional from start to finish. Robin was a fantastic waitress and made us feel very welcome. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktails were fresh, the appetizers were good, the meals were delicious and portioned generously, and the desserts were extra yummy. Also, the bus boy who cleared our plates and glasses after each course was quick and friendly. My only regret is that we aren’t local and can’t come back all the time. Thank you for a tasty experience!

    We were 14 minutes late and our table was given to someone else. The restaurant has a 10 minute policy. That was a bad start of the evening but luckily there was still space in the bar area. We ordered oysters, steak, scallops and the halibut. After waiting for quite some time the food arrived. Unfortunately all the food was really salty. I was not able to finish the scallops, after one bite I decided to sent it back. The asparagus that were served with the steak were uncooked and the kitchen forgot to remove the hard ends. To be honest this restaurant did not meet our expectations. To end with something positive, the staff at the bar were friendly and efficient.

    We saw this restaurant listed under many top seafood venues in Seattle. Although it was highly rated, we were left wanting more. More than anything this food lacked flavor. We had the duck, halibut, octopus, and clams - all of which expect for the duck were lacking in flavor. This wouldn’t be such a drawback if the price and expectation weren’t so high. All in all; save your money, use it somewhere with more flavor.

    One of my dinner party guests was a little bit late for our reservation and when I asked for a bit of an extension, it was granted but not without a little snootiness that I did not really appreciate. That's really the only downside I have to share and it's not a big deal really. The menu is very interesting and the dishes we had were well above average. Rockfish Ancho Ceviche was a delicious starter. My companion had Scallops Grenobloise and although I didn't try it, she said it was great. I had Penn Cove Mussels - Achiote bomba rice, sweet peruvian chili, chipotle + chorizo broth + cilantro along with some toasted sourdough bread (you know you gotta) for dipping in the broth. That dish was much larger than I anticipated which was a real treat and the broth was fabulous. S+S has an experimental cocktail menu and some very nice beers as well. I tried a hazy pale from some brewery I have unfortunately forgotten but it was very tasty. I would definitely go there again; especially if I was going to attend another concert at The Moore Theatre. The Penny Royal lounge attached to S+S and the hotel also seemed very quaint and I believe they offer the same menu as S+S. All-in-all our experience was enjoyable and I would go there again and recommend it for anyone that hasn't already tried it.

    Went there for Mother’s Day breakfast. Server did not even offer us the Mother’s Day menu. When we inquired about it, he basically said oh yeah, there’s a Mother’s Day menu. No apology, and just asked if we were ready for our bill. Probably last time we’ll go to this restaurant.

    Absolutely gorgeous, modern dining room with playful food and some serious flavor bombs. Charred octopus was the big winner - absolutely delicious combination of flavors and textures. Everything about this restaurant makes you want to come back and try new things. Great staff and ambiance, as well. One of the best restaurants in Seattle.

    The experience started out amazing with our server Ben who was witty, charming, and knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. He was attentive throughout without being obtrusive. The food was well prepared with excellent and compelling flavor combinations. The drinks were well balanced and delicious.     What a beautiful experience. Greg was our wonderful server. We enjoyed the grilled octopus (nice char & acidity) and surf & turf tartare (fresh proteins, just enough bread). For entrees we had the fish (perfectly medium rare), crab coconut Thai soup (nice spice, so rich and creamy, loved the chickpeas and crab textures), and clams (I wanted to drink this broth). For dessert, we had the strawberry vanilla ...? Elevated funnel cake to the millionth degree. It was the perfect dessert, not too sweet, amazing crust. Thanks for such a great experience.

    The food here is excellent and beautifully prepared. That deserves all five stars. There were a few dings, however. Our server never checked on us after the entrees were served. Ding two: A desert on the desert menu “wasn’t done yet.” Ding three: the bill was delivered right when we began our desert (too soon!). Ding four: all of our table was cleared before we were done with needed spoons for tea, desert, so we had to ask for more clean silverware. This said, it nice again, the food was excellent.

    While it was loud, due to a couple large party tables, overall it was a great experience. The food was top shelf for sure….oysters, duck and scallops were ON POINT!!! My bride and I cook these at home in Alaska and these were some of the best we have ever had in a restaurant!! Our server was super energetic and helpful, I do like the way the entire staff “waits” on every table. Every staff member was eager to help/serve/clear the table/etc. WE WILL BE BACK!!
