   Another excellent dining experience! We split the small ricotta pasta rabbit sugo as an appetizer before sharing the rainbow trout for two and it was a perfect combination of flavors. The freshest seasonal produce is used creatively and even the deserts have a modern twist! Try the chocolate layer cake which has a little spicy heat under a dollop of fresh whipped cream.

   This tucked away gem is a must for any visit to Asheville. The dishes were spectacular, cocktails delightful and wine pairings perfection. Our server Matthew explained our questions with ease and was simply a delight. It’s a seasonal fair, so you probably won’t get the same thing twice. But we had oysters, lee’s broccoli, NY strip, blue crab and a pot de creme. Truly a special place!

   Dinner with friends last night was delightful. The waitstaff are knowledgable professionals who are diligent in providing you with an exceptional dining experience. When asked about how the soft shell crab on the menu was prepared, our waiter described it as “ Carolina Spring on a plate” with early season mushy peas with fresh mint alongside a large blue crab from the coast, with a light Tempura coating, which was delicious. The fried chicken from the bar menu was perfectly seasoned, tender and delicious with a silky gravy and rice that my friend said may be the best chicken she has ever had! The pork Crepinette (a riff on a German styled sausage that this chef updated) was a huge hit with my husband who nearly licked his plate! The beautiful craft cocktail had a bouquet of three different varieties of mint garnishing the rim, which added a lovely fragrance as you sipped the refreshingly delicious drink. We will definitely be back.

   Table is the oldest consistently excellent restaurant in Asheville. We’ve been regulars for years and it just keeps getting better! The seasonally prepared market chicken is my favorite, and my husband always goes for the local salad bowl of whatever is fresh that day. The daily updated menu always has great choices of veggie dishes, seafoods, and meats - with a really fun bar menu too. The ambience is small and friendly, with a neighborhood feel that is still upscale. The best words to describe Table? Super local, super fresh and super delicious! Thank you for another awesome experience.

    Incredible food. Service was on top of things. We got in early and they were able to seat us early, which was great. It was nice to bring an out of town guest here and not worry about the quality of the food or service. Both were outstanding.

    My wife and I both had the flounder, one of the recommendations from our server. Perhaps the best fish I have had in years. Crispy skin but yet soft and moist as well as oh so flavorful. Desserts were memorable too.

    Some of the food was good and some was mediocre. The ribeye for 2 had no flavor and was very expensive for the quality. Have had a lot better steak for half the price or less at other restuarants. I don't mind paying for a really good meal, but $232 for 3 people wasn't worth it for the quality of the meal we received.

    We had eaten at Table this summer and had a great experience so when two of our couple friends decided to join us in Asheville for a long weekend, Table was my first reservation. What a disappointing experience. I’m sure our friends were thinking “what the what?!?” One entree (steak) was served cold, was taken back to the kitchen and was re-served with no improvement; one entree (chicken) was over cooked, along with overcooked dumplings; salad was good, I heard the flounder was good; pasta non-memorable. When the food is great, the cost is not what you remember….unfortunately, that was not our experience this time at Table.

    Delicious local seasonal food. Quaint atmosphere. Service extraordinary. Stewart was sweet and charming waiter. Definitely try Heidi’s bread- insane. We had oysters, steak tartare, NC flounder and housemade rigatoni pasta with broccoli and sausage. All perfection!

    Went with a party of 8 friends, everyone loved the food. Standouts were both pastas, the mushroom/foie gras pot pie and steak tartare. Service was very helpful and attentive!

    Our party of six had several large plates, some shared. Attention to preparation and presentation and overall taste of the food was superb. Service, including responsiveness to questions and delivery was prompt, friendly and professional. Noise level was energetic. We had a great experience!

    Table is my spouses' favorite 'treat' dining location, so it was a non-cerebral choice for a Valentines' Day 45th anniversary surprise. It was also a surprise for me to be able to get a reservation @ 7:30 having noticed the email notification when I did. We had a delicious round of drink/bar 'snack'/salad/entre'/dessert. Our hostess accomidated taking a snap of us with drink in hand sidebyside. We were pleased by your new location, although the old site had a bit of a 'romantic' lower light level and seemed a bit less crowded (which may have just been a ValDay effect). Always an adventure in food to savor...and thanks.

    I had not yet visited Table in this “new” location. So glad we decided to visit one of our two nights in Asheville. What a wonderful dinner. It was a Wednesday evening, and there were not many diners. Even though it’s Winter, I expected more crowds. After our experience, I’m shocked it wasn’t packed! This was a fantastic meal. Loved our server. Knowledgeable about ingredients and pairings. Attentive and engaging. We were also concerned as there were not many options for us ovo-lacto-pescatarians. But we certainly didn’t leave hungry! If you’re frustrated that other restaurants don’t have a reservation, Table is not a fall-back; you should look there first. Really, the experience was wonderful.

    Haven’t been to Table since they moved. Went there during restaurant week. Loved the menu, had the schnitzel and it was lovely. Appreciated the thoughtful non alcoholic options. Our waiter was great.

    I had an early reservation with my husband and my 5 year old son and everything was ahmazing! I’m not sure how we did it but we had 5 appetizers, 3 entrees and 4 desserts between us and we ate every single bite. We started with a couple delicious cocktails and my son had a house made lemonade. The lobster and avocado salad was to die for, my son had raw oysters and a burger and fries (which they very accommodatingly served without the onions and the cheese for him;) my husband had the pork schnitzel, I had the chicken and dumplings which was homey and luxurious at the same time, paired perfectly with a glass of oloroso sherry from the bar. All finished with the richest chocolate sorbet I’ve ever tasted, dreamy lemon sorbet, umami olive oil ice cream and warm chocolate budino! Chef Patrick is the best! I’ll dream of my meal till next time!
