   The food was great as you should expect for the price. The portions were good and the waiter did an excellent job. This is not a place to bring the kids as I saw some people doing. At least my kids would not want anything on the menu and I definitely would not want to waste the money. It was a nice place for my wife and I to have a date night.

   Always have a nice experience at this restaurant. My only complaint is the wine. Haven’t found a Red of the offerings. They taste bitter to me.

    Our server, Jennifer, was wonderful! The food was exceptional! The mussels were literally the best we have ever had! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

    We tried 3 appetizers and the NC wine flights. The food and wine was wonderful. A delicious meal and very nice atmosphere!! Crème brûlée was delicious!!!

    I ordered the trout which is advertised as fresh. It was not and was VERY fishy tasting - so much so that I sent the whole thing back and wished I could get the taste out of my mouth. The French onion soup was passable, the filet was nothing to brag about, and the trout was horrible.

    First, the manager, Austin, was very helpful and made every effort to make our experience right. I ordered a $79 estate raised ribeye that came with “fried potatoes” and braised(?) kale. The ribeye was not seasoned and chewy. Cooked to te right temp, but a bad cut of meat. The fried potatoes were literally what you would get at iHop, they should not have been on the plate, and they were an insult to a “fine dining” experience. My appetizer of “soup du jour” (parsnip cream based) was basically bowl of warm milk with pepper and undercooked tiny pieces parsnip - one step from baby formula. We ordered two $20 glasses of wine which were good. The mussels appetizer was good. Overall, this was a $250 meal that you could get from Longhorn for $50. It’s also our second terrible food experience at the Bistro in two tries. If you’ve never eaten at a quality restaurant, maybe they’ll fool you. Otherwise, go elsewhere if you want a quality experience and value for your dollar.

    My husband & I always share meals everywhere we go. We decided to get the bone in ribeye steak and asked if we could substitute for the mashed potatoes and green beans. The steak was huge! The meal was absolutely delicious! Where we were seated was in a small corner which was very private and perfect! Thanks to all for making our weekend getaway just a little more special.

    Acorn squash undercooked, while meat portion was not chicken breast as the menu indicated. Portions of the meat was undercooked. Very disappointed.

    The meal was very delicious. However, the menu online deferred somewhat to the in-house menu. One entree was 23.00 (Ribeye) more on the in-house menu. Also, there were starter items on the online menu not listed in-house. Next door is the Social restaurant which has a similar ribeye dinner for 30.00 less than the Bistro. Very perplexing.

    Nice restaurant, service provided by Blake was very good, the trout meal was very good, however the filet was ordered to be chard medium rare, it cam medium and was dried out. The wine was very good, overall a good experience.

    We enjoyed a meal celebrating a birthday at the Bistro. Our petite filet mignon was delicious and cooked perfectly. The star of the evening was our appetizer of marinated and grilled olives. I realize dining on the Biltmore Estate property was going to be expensive, but this was just a bit more than expected.

    Fantastic!!! The marinated olives appetizer was delicious! We chose the filet and the bone-in ribeye, both were perfectly cooked. We will recommend to others and we will definitely be back on our next trip.

    I didn’t give a 5 star review because the server was just sub-par. I felt rushed. Food came out quickly and we ordered appetizers, entrees and deserts. Not enough time to enjoy each. I’ve eaten there a few times and was given an experience. Communication about the farm to table experience. I brought guests who’ve never dined there before and they truly missed out. Also, I forgot to mention I was a pass holder and was never asked by the server. He had already brought the bill to the table and quickly took the payment before I could say anything. I should’ve put the pass holder card in with the payment. Food was excellent, very flavorful. It never disappoints. I will be back, but will be more vocal about my expectations and give my pass holder card with the bill.

    My husband and I visited this restaurant for dinner on our recent stay at the Inn at Biltmore. The food was amazing; we ordered the filet mignon and the taste was great. The service was superb and our waitress went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. We even tried the chocolate cake dessert and it was wonderful as well. We will definitely be back on our next overnight stay to the Biltmore.
