Tldr; 3.5 stars. mixed experience due to customer service and food I had made a reservation tonight to celebrate my wife's birthday as we were in the area. Saw this restaurant and it was near our lodging so gave it a try. It wasn't a total miss but there were a few head scratchers that gave me a mixed experience. While our appetizer, the tomato bruschetta, was a great way to start, the entrees is where things took a turn. My wife ordered pasta di mare and I ordered the black spaghetti. Hers was good and enjoyable. My black spaghetti, however, was very salty to where it tasted like the ocean outside. I had shared that with the waiter and he took it back to remake it. Once they brought it, it tasted exactly the same. A gentleman whom I believe is the manager explained that this is due to the clams, pork and pasta and he had suggested the pasta di mare. Since my wife had it, I had chose that. Once I had gotten the bill, I had been charged for both pasta di mare, the more expensive dish, when compared to the black spaghetti dish. It was a bit confusing to me because typically I've experienced restaurants charging for the lesser priced dish so to pay full price on my wife's birthday where we couldn't eat our meal together felt a bit disappointing and gives me a slight bad taste in my mouth. She had finished her dish and had waited an hour for us to finish our meal together. So while I don't want to fault them since they did something but it just felt off and I had a mediocre/mixed experience. I want to be fair in this review because the food wasn't bad except for the black spaghetti its just that it dampened an evening that I was hoping to celebrate with my wife. I give this place a 3.5 stars and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

We always love this place, in spite of the parking drama, but that's the deal. Lovely ambiance. Service was fine, didn't replace the salad fork after use for the wonderful squash blossoms. Short-ribs great but a bit fatty. Wines selected by our server excellent, leaned a new one too. Definitely going back.

The restaurant was so loud and packed that we had a difficult time carrying on a conversation. This was a Wednesday night! Our past experiences were much more enjoyable.

Celebrated a wonderful birthday dinner with my family. We started with the Tuna cones, bruschetta and squash blossoms. The tuna cones were unique and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Service was good. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion dinner.
