Trattoria Diane is a Roman-style, family-run restaurant. We have developed our menu and space to reflect the casual, inviting and friendly spots we have enjoyed on our trips to the Eternal City. The menu offers our take on the traditional Roman menu with its verdure, fritti, antipasto, primi and secondi. Chef/Owner John Durkin prides himself on maintaining a standard of excellence that has put us on the top of fine dining on Long Island. Come wine and dine where you can enjoy

                            It’s my mother‘s favorite restaurant and usually the food is wonderful last night. It was just OK.

                            Usually all the food dishes are excellent, last night much less. A pasta was a lump of linguine and sauce had no taste. Previously it was a lighter portion with great taste. Chopped salad and dressing was average. Side vegetables were not hot when arriving at the table. Positively, an attractive ambiance, diligent and friendly, service. Have eaten here many times, so maybe the kitchen were off their game or chef was on vacation.

                            Great food and a low key gem in Roslyn. Excellent service, you can always count on Diana’s for a satisfying night out any day of the week!

                            The evening for outdoor dining was perfect. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. We all enjoyed our meals. Paula was our server and she was at the top of her game, along with the support staff. My original drink was not to my liking, and it was replaced with a smile.

                            Had a wonderful dinner with friends. The service was great, and the scallop dish was delicious. The pasta dishes were  especially liked by all.

                            Wonderful restaurant! Excellent cuisine and service! However, I suggest eating outside when possible since it can be quite loud inside. Outside patio area is quiet and quite comfortable. Still, one of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommend.
