   Overall a great experience for my Out of Town guests. But the menu wasn't always matching the food delivered. One of my guest was allergic to cilantro which affect 3-10% of the general population. She ordered an appetizer and main dish which did no show cilantro on the menu description but both had cilantro mixed in with the food. The waiter should ask our table if there were any food allergies, and the chef should know better than to arbitrarily add an ingredient that is a known allergen. Thankfully, they were able to swap both items out and remove the cilantro from those dishes.

   Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food for any dietary needs. I have recently gone gluten and dairy free, and this restaurant has so many options for any needs. I was even able to order something with a few modifications to ensure that it was safe for me to eat. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful as well.

   This is the first time I am writing a bad review for any true food kitchen. The food was really bad, the dishes smelled like they hadn’t been washed and we had to ask for service. We ordered the cauliflower starter which usually comes with pistachios and dates. This time there were no pistachios or dates at all. Pesto pasta came in a bowl that smelled of fish. The pesto was really watery and didn’t stick to the pasta. I would recommend going to the same restaurant in the Domain. It’s the same food but tastes way better.

   Great time! TFK is a great place that accommodates pretty much anyone with tasty options. Two of my guests had food allergies which were handled professionally and the staff went above and beyond. Thanks Eric and Vanessa!

    Hi, due to SXSW there was no street parking and two in our party ended up having to pay for garage parking. I wish your restaurant provided free parking for your clients because my total parking fee was $15.99, which makes for an expensive lunch! I usually love kale salad, but your vinaigrette was too acidic. I came home with a stomach ache. If I return, I'll make sure to avoid the SXSW or ACL season, and I won't order kale salad.

    The staff were very pleasant. We requested outdoor seating (+1 dog) and they we very accommodating. Service was professional, well paced, and responsive. Two minor notes regarding the food - I have the Poke bowl (the taste was great - I liked the forbidden rice but the portion was quite small for $23.50) and my wife had the Kale Salad with beef. She said the salad was very salty and the beef was only cooked to one standard - medium. I've eaten there several times in the past and enjoyed each time. Would I go back? Sure, just avoid the salad and if ordering the Poke bowl again, get a starter.

    My wife, daughter, and myself had dinner last night at True Food Kitchen to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Catie and the young lady assisting her made sure we had a wonderful experience with excellent service and outstanding food.     Tyler was amazing at keeping our water filled and food coming to the table fast and hot. Brunch was amazing! The banana quinoa pancakes were a strong recommendation from tyler and they did not fail. My kids enjoyed their meals as well. I would definitely come back again. Best brunch in Austin!

    My most recent visit I would give it three stars because it took us a very long time to get our appetizers and my daughters pizza was cold and undercooked at the same time. Service was pretty slow. The last time we were there a few weeks ago service was also slow. Usually the food is really good. The ancient grains bowl is so good. Last visit we got the edamame dumplings and they were so good. Got them again this time and good, but not as good they were cold, and maybe undercooked or something was not quite right. I think the kitchen was pretty backed up, so maybe they were rushing things a bit. I will forgive them. I still love this restaurant. Yummy healthy options. Friendly staff. Nice location and ambience.

    Excellent service. This was Valentines Day. We appreciated the fact that the menu was not limited to the special Valentines menu. This makes it very easy to meet restricted dietary requirements. Overall this was a great experience!

    This was ur first time. The food and atmosphere was great for a casual yet memorable date night! We had a reservation and showed up early but we’re still able to get a table no problem on a Friday night! Our server, Maegan was delightful. We will definitely be coming back!

    Had a reservation. We told the girls at host stand. They asked us to wait on the side. They then sat multiple walk ins ahead of us and I went back 25 minutes after our reservation and they asked what the name was. I said I’m the one at the top and they looked confused and finally sat me. Portions small for price you pay. Specials weren’t that good.

    Food is always excellent. Wish I could make such clean interesting food that tasted this delicious. We had reservation for 6 and our party grew to 10 and the team was kind and flexible with our last minute change.
