   I haven't had ramen in decades due to it containing MSG in every restaurant in Houston......except here, at TFK. It didn't have that in your face kick that comes from MSG, but certainly had amazing layered flavor. I would highly recommend it! you feel great afterwards as well. No headache or carb crash.

   Everything we ordered came to us cold and drinks watered down because it set too long. Having an under staffed establishment is what’s hurting this once awesome place.

   Food was delicious! Server was really great and had excellent recommendations but quite slow with the food delivery. Took forever to get the appetizer, coffee with dessert etc. Enjoyed the ambience.

    My wife and I had a fairly nice time at True Foods. Both the waiter and the server were great and personable and made the experience much better. They were out of fresh ginger at the bar, so our Specialty beverages, once ordered, were unavailable. The requested substitutes were tasty — but it took way too long because the waiter got busy. The lasagna came out cold and had no flavor so we asked for a reheat. Once it came back out, the flavors were much better. The pizza was okay but the crust was super soggy. Edamame dumplings app were fine, I guess. Overall, the Specialty (NA) beverage was the highlight of the tastings. We paid the bill, gave a nice cash tip and likely won’t be coming back. It’s just not our kinda place but I’m glad we tried.

    I am visiting from North Carolina. I chose True Food because the menu looked great! I was not disappointed. I went to the Dallas location on Friday and the Houston location on Saturday. Both were the best meals I’ve had. I savored every bite! The veggie burger, sweet potato hash, kale salad. Hibiscus lime and Prickly Pear juice were all outstanding! The flourless chocolate cake was awesome. Please open a location in the Triangle Area. Perfect market! This will be my first stop whenever I come to town!

    There was a gnat that accompanied our food to the table. While I was fanning the air to keep the gnat from getting in my food, he landed in my drink and I had to get another one (pest control needed?) The food was lukewarm and the. Vegan burger was bone dry? The server brought the check to our table and stood there while we searched through our purses to get a credit card to pay for the meal? I have NEVER had a server stand there and watch me rummage through my purse to get cash and a credit card out for payment and it made me very uncomfortable? I am not happy

    One of our entrees came out with meat in it and our server did not catch it however someone came from the back to alert. I thought the restaurant should have complimented the entree since they messed it up.

    Parking was free and easy. We were seated immediately. Or server was competent. Menu choices were nice enough and, since we were familiar with the fare, we knew the food would be better than most of our dining experiences here in Houston. Wait staff was personable, if a bit rushed. The table was too small for our liking, but the occasion called for joy. The chop salad was plentiful and tasty. The lasagna Bolognese will do the fully prepared and the Fall Pesto Pasta was top notch as usual. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable.

    I always feel better about eating here, knowing how Dr. Weill has balanced all the dishes for health, but also delicious too. Edamame dumplings, charred cauliflower and Pinang curry are my favorites.

    I recommend the restaurant. I rated food 4 out of 5 because the steak (Grilled Korean Steak) was mushy. Because I ordered it medium, I know it wasn't going to be fully cooked on the inside but expected it to be firm on the outside. It was still palatable but not on the same level as the other items. Otherwise, everything was good.

    Im not sure if it was an "off" day, Saturday 3pm but I was kind of disappointed at what seemed to be a limited selection menu. It didn't seem as good as the last time I visited (pre-pandemic). The burgers are great! I had a salad (excellent) and the Margherita pizza. I feel like it needed more cheese but he crust was great! Most of our food arrive lukewarm, but that could have been because it was a cold wet day.

    The ambiance is nice but the service could be better. We asked for a few mintues to look over the menu but our server took a long time to come back to take our order. Food wasn't hot and it's pricey compared to the amount that you get and wished they had more entrees to offer.

    The food is (or seems to be) healthy. Great options for those who care! The price is reasonable as well. The servers care about your satisfaction and they seem to work together to make you happy. (hail down any server if you don't see yours and they will oblige). Parking is made so easy with the adjacent parking structure (free). I had the cauliflower appetizer and spaghetti squash meal...both were very tasty!

    Service was not attentive considering how empty the restaurant was. Also we were seated in a high traffic area near where the door dash/deliver drivers picked food up. Constant flow of people past us - there were many empty tables in areas without the disruption
