   Enjoyed the happy hour menu and pineapple rice from the main set, which was really tasty and visually fun. Attentive service, overall very pleased with our meal before the show.

   This most recent visit was not great at all, took far too long to order the food as the waitress wouldn't catch our eye to come take the order, even though I booked it also took them a while to seat us. We ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 sides and 2 drinks. All the food came at the same time which I didn't appreciate as my main was far too cold before I could get to us with an undercooked prawn, even the drinks came half way through the meal which wasn't great, let alone the fact there was no space on the table for all the food at the same time. It felt far too rush and we paid for plenty of parking but we were done in less than an hour and paid for 2.5 hours. They added a service charge whilst providing really bad service and low quality food none of it was hot or fresh, my other half refuses to take off the service charge and it was his treat so I didn't push to take it off. We were also sat right next to 4 lads that were super loud and boisterous and were used to try Thai being calm and romantic, for date night it was a let down can't say well be returning anytime soon. They also charge you to pack up the left over food, to be honest the portions are a lot smaller but I couldn't eat it knowing the prawns were undercooked and I didn't feel comfortable sending it back so I thought I'll pack it up and reheat it properly at home.

   I Love this place- have been a regular customer for eight years. The food is always really fresh and excellent authentic Thai restaurant. Its also excellent value for money and there is plenty of choice on the menu. have to say their Stir fried Duck in tamarind sauce is just brilliant. I am a foodie having worked in the industry for over 30 years.

    Went there for my partner’s birthday, food tasted amazing and I’m sold (I’ll definitely go again) on it. The only downside is the portions were on the small side (Not a lot of chicken in the Thai red and green curry mains) and the fried rice main that is served in a pineapple. They fantastically brought put the birthday cake I had dropped off 2 days before, which they kindly kept in the fridge. The staff were generally very lovely and helpful. Interior is nice, wall decorations a little bit dated but felt good being there anyway!

    Food was absolutely outstanding, service was a bit hit and miss but they were extremely busy and the because of the quality of food we wasn’t that bothered about waiting to be served, we would 100% recommend to friends and would certainly return. The flavours are the closest we’ve had since actually eating in Thailand.

    Booked for my wife’s birthday and ate early before theatre, so ordered from the early bird & ‘happy hour’ drinks menu. The value for money was incredible. Large portion sizes and the food tasted amazing. The staff were lovely and brought out a cake and sung happy birthday to my wife after the meal (not requested by me).

    Service and food were both exceptional. We ordered a mixture from the set menu and main menu. We asked for the kids food to arrive ASAP and it came very quickly and the rest soon after. Generous portions and set menu excellent value for money. Party of x9 all enjoyed everything. Thanks!

    Our experience at try thai was one to remember,we attended on my 65th birthday the welcome was very good the staff were very helpful efficient and attentive even though they venue was quite busy,our food starter and main course was superb,and to top it of I was serenaded with Happy birthday tune and a delicious slice of chocolate cake a fitting touch to a brilliant visit to try thai,we will be visiting again superb restaurant thankyou.

    They were happy to amend the booking when I called and said we were running late They were not operating the happy hour menu despite it being live on their website - this is what we had booked to order from so that was disappointing Took a while to get served initially but everything after that was fine

    A little disappointing, I asked if they could make my green curry mild , which they said they could, but tasted extremely hot ,and I was unable to eat it . We were there with some friends, three of the meals were brought but by the time my husbands food arrived we had finished our dishes . Think they forgot about his meal as we had to ask about it .

    Service was a bit slow but we were not in a rush - I did feel a bit neglected the table had 3 crackers for a party of 5 and we did have to get their attention on occasion to order more drinks and request our dessert- food was good.

    We have been coming to this restaurant for the last 10 years. Our experience on Sunday 18/12 was awful and not to the standard which we had experienced before, hence we returned on many occasions. The service was slow, shoddy, non attentive, we waited at least 40 minutes for our starter course to arrive and then at least another 20 minutes for our main course to arrive. Portion sizes are a lot smaller and are not value for money and the food was not of a good standard.
