Beautiful place with quirky design choices. The service is impeccable, we where grated by every staff member as we walked in. This for me was a great welcoming customer service atmosphere.
But the food really let's its self down. I had a wild boar tagliatelle and instead of being a tomato based reragu dish with meaty undertone. Instead it tasted like the filling of a very heavy stake pie put with pasta. The food was such a let down. In their defence we did eat late and this could be why it wasn't up to standard. On arrival we where offered bread and oil and when the bill came we where charged for this complimentary item. I found the place to be extremely expensive as well.
It total the restaurant is trying to be a very upmarket fine dinning place with the service. Which is OK. But for me doesn't have the product to back it up.
Excellent meal... fantastic service and ambience - best Italian in west London!
Attentive and friendly service without being too formal.
Amazing food and charming ambience made our dinner a great experience that we will definitely repeat and we highly recommend for a special occasion.
We sat outside and its a beautiful setting, the inside is lovely also. Food is traditional and delicious however i ordered from the lunch menu and was hoping my main would be a decent size but portion size was quite small so was left a little hungry after. Could be larger to balance out the value for money.
I found one of the waiters to be a little rude and confused but other than that was decent.
Such a wonderful experience! Food was delicious, vibe was great/decor super cute, and the service wonderful. I don't remember our waiter's name but he was so attentive and kind. The hostess who took my umbrella was also super nice and smiley, and the BEST part was the doorman who offered us an umbrella to take home because it was pouring out and we didn't have one. This is ABOVE and BEYOND service!
Wonderful food and attentive service. A special place to eat authentic Italian food
Great service, fantastic food as ever - my Gnocci were incredible.
What a lovely restaurant took my girlfriend and we both had the best time ever service was good and the food was very lovely we will be going back again very soon.
Really outstanding evening. I look forward to dining here again soon . Delicious authentic Tuscan food, exemplary attention to service and satisfaction. One of the best dining experiences. Thank you.
Delicious food and friendly staff my first visit and would definitely return with friends!
We went there for my wife's birthday. Preset is five with lacto-vegan, nuts, and accessibility issues. All had a great choice and staff were wonderful. Great menu oh well thoughtout and executed dishes. They have a lovely source outside for Sunny days.
We enjoy dining at Villa do Geggiano. Food and drink is delicious and the service is impeccable. I’d highly recommend dining here. :)
Food was amazing, ambience was better and the service topped it all off. Perfect experience
I booked for a business group to host some foreign guests and they all said it was fantastic!
Lovely evening and delicious food. Only slight comment is the wine should have been served as the food arrived and the bread took a long time to arrive. Minor details - Villa Geggiano is still our favourite restaurant in Chiswick!
Usually I love this restaurant but the last two times the service was so stretched that it was bad. No fault of the very nice waiters but they need a few more. Also for the first time a whole table of smokers in the garden made it unpleasant. I have not encountered this here before but the people were waving their cigarettes around and making it hard to enjoy food. I will go back because I really like the restaurant and the people working there but they need to look at the service.
We went on a Sunday lunchtime. Had the tuna tartar and buratta for starters and the wild boar and lobster spaghetti for main together with chianti classico. It was really busy inside and out. Food, service, ambience, everything was great as it always is at the villa.
Lovely staff and good service but we went for an early lunch and food was mediocre. Felt the pasta was a reheated dish and steamed salmon reheated. Somewhat disappointed in the food. All things considered it was overpriced for what we were given. Later servings of dishes to other tables looked better.
Always a pleasure to come back to this fabulous place.
Beautiful restaurant and food. Staff were friendly helpful and informative and went the extra mile
Thank you so much for the lovely time we spent at your beautiful restaurant this week.
We were sending off a dear employee from our company and he was overwhelmed by everything.
The food and service were fantastic and we came away happy and sated after our meal.
We will definitely recommend your restaurant and certainly be visiting again.
This was the second time we are here for a special occasion meal and the food and service have been excellent!!
Would definitely come again! Thanks guys!
On a dreary wet London day lunch was a highlight.
We went for the lunch menu which is well priced with a reasonable choice albeit restricted.
Service was very good, the food was extremely competently cooked, and the restaurant had a real ambience even though it was fairly empty.
I have eaten at the restaurant in the evening on several occasions and if I was reviewing those visits I would give everything a higher score as the a la carte menu really does demonstrate the chef’s skills.
We had the oddest interaction with the sommelier ending with us not understanding his purpose.
Our group is unfamiliar with Italian wines so we asked for help, stating we like robust reds like Malbecs after some discussion he asked if she wanted to try a specific wine. She agreed to try it; he came by with a not-full pour, but greater than a sample. He set it down and walked away ... so much for a taste.
Our waiter later asked my mother-in-law is she would like a second glass. She told him she wanted a more flavourful wine; he came back with a glass and let her taste it to verify it was what she wanted before going back to work other tables.
Turns out our fantastic waiter was more helpful than the sommelier.
Service slowed right down after starters
Lovely food, but probably the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. It made the experience so much better!
Awesome experience and the food was great. The service from the waiters was outstanding.
It was good . But not great . Easily can be great if food was better .
Salmon had zero flavour
Soup was great
Pappardelle was good.
Generally great Italian food is easy to make , so a restaurant chef should have done much better given it’s their job.
We visited to celebrate my wife’s birthday - looking for somewhere local but not run of the mill. The food was excellent, paired with great wine, but the best thing was the service - attentive, fun, personal and even teased me on my bad Italian! To be recommended. We will be back! Oh, get there early and have a cocktail too!
My new favourite restaurant in Chiswick. Wonderful food, wine and staff. I cannot fault it! I felt at home from the moment I stepped inside. Would highly recommend.
Lunch with 96 year old god mother
Fantastic food, excellent professional servers and fabulous ambiance. Best Italian restaurant in London.
Amazing restaurant! Great food, wonderful service and great ambiance. Highly recommended!
It was my anniversary and so it was nice to go somewhere nice for the occasion. The staff were wonderful. They were all very welcoming from the doorman to the manager and our waiter were all amazing. The food was delicious. I ordered the wild boar pasta and my partner ordered the gnocchi. While my serving was plenty (we both ordered large), hers was not so much and she was still a little hungry after although she did say it was lovely just not enough. The waiter brought us a glass of champagne on the house and while we were going to order a particular wine, we opted to go for the recommended red offered by the waiter. We had a cheese board for dessert between us which again was divine. The service was the best I’ve ever witnessed, the food was perfect and the atmosphere was exactly as I’d hoped. It was not particularly over priced especially had the portion been slightly bigger for the vegetarian gnocchi dish. Aside from that I’ll definitely be back on another occasion. Thank you for a lovely evening, we felt very looked after.
Lovely restaurant, great decor and ambience, spacious not noisy, brilliant service, pasta delicious could do a bit better on other courses
Although the atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming, the food was way below average. I went for lunch together with my son. My food arrived 10 minutes before his, which should never happen. And when his food arrived it was such an awful “fish finger”, with no seasoning whatsoever, that it would have been better if his food didn’t came at all. I had a rabbit Ragu, which as alright but nothing extra special. Would not return.
Can not fault a thing! Went for a mid-week birthday meal with my husband. All staff were very professional and friendly. The food was perfectly prepared, balanced and presented.
An unexpected bonus was chef's delicious complimentary gazpacho and a chocolate written birthday message along with a scoop of delicious ice cream.
The decor was unique, classy and calming. It wasn't too busy, which was a bonus for us to enjoy a quiet evening. I will definitely return.
Another excellent meal. Cannot fault the incredibly high level of service (from the moment you are met at the gate by a caped waiter) or the varied and delicious menu. It’s a firm favourite.
Excellent food, accommodating staff, nice decor. A tad expensive if being critical (£140 for two), but cannot complain. Third time going there, will definitely go again
Excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. The courtyard is the best and most welcoming outside space in Chiswick
