We've been to Zeret multiple times and will continue to go - the staff, the food, the overall vibe of the restaurant is so warm and enjoyable. Personal favourite in London when it comes to Ethiopian food
Delicious food, great for sharing, terrific value!
Excellent traditional, Ethiopian food! Service was very attentive and friendly. Lots of diners (even on a Thursday night!) in a relatively small restaurant meant that noise levels were high, making conversation quite difficult. One small and delightful surprise was the coffee at the end of the meal, which was brought to us in the traditional, Ethiopian way - delicious! Overall excellent value!
Beautiful food & service, celebrating a birthday and we all enjoyed thoroughly. A lot of silence when the food arrived, as we were all busy stuffing our faces!
By far the best Ethiopian restaurant in London. It is such a treat to eat there - so welcoming and the food is out of this world!
We are not regulars here but have visited several times, always choosing the house "special for two", currently £23.99. This comes as a large circular plate with a variety of meat dishes (chicken, lamb and beef) plus vegetables, all on the traditional Injera bread. The portion sizes are excellent and the whole is very tasty. Service was friendly and welcoming.
Very friendly and welcoming Ethiopian resto with tasty food.
One of my favourite restaurants in London, phenomenal authentic Ethiopian food, friendly service, great value.
Fantastic - delicious food and friendly staff.
The vegan food was unusual, delicious and great value. We will be back and will be recommending Zeret Kitchen!
Wonderful food, lovely staff - highly recommend the two person special platter.
Came in for a quick dinner. Fast & friendly service even though it was fairly busy. Great food, amazing staff. Left with a full stomach and wonderful emotions.
Delicious food, huge portions, quick service, nice atmosphere. No frills but fab for a cosy dinner.
Very tasty and authentic Ethiopian food served as it should be ... a good way to feel far far away on a night out :)
The only restaurant we would bother to take a journey that, from where we live, takes 40 minutes and involves 2 buses. It it the most delicious, friendly restaurant.
Amazing authentic Ethiopian cuisine; the sharing meat platter was sumptuous and the service extremely warm; best Ethiopian food outside Ethiopia!
The service was amazing. The owner was very nice and came over to talk to us and help us choose. The food was very good too. Great experience overall. Will definitely be back!!!
Amazing tasty food, service was impeccable and great value.
authentisches Essen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und super leckeres Essen!
So good!!! The food was great and the staff were super lovely. Really enjoyed it.
First time at Zeret, so wasn't sure what to expect! However, lovely food, great wine list and very nice staff. Couldn't manage pudding as was too full.
Excellent Restaurant, greeted by the owner and lovely smile. The food was excellent and will certainly visit again.
This is literally the best Ethiopian/Eritrean food I’ve ever had.
Best value for money in the area, in a part of London that's known for cheap, quality food. If you don't get the special for two, with 6 or so stews and salad spread across a giant injera bread plate, you're doing it wrong.
Lively Ethiopian restaurant with authentic food. Warm and friendly service if a little bit slow. Young crowd provided lively atmosphere.
Fantastic food, wonderful service, amazing value.
Really good food, service and ambience! Thank you Xeret Kitchen!
Fantastic food, happy, friendly and attentive staff, great atmosphere. Our night at Zeret Kitchen was an amazing experience. I strongly recommend this place.
Delicious food and very kind and friendly staff. It all came very fast as well, and the prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and come again!
Zeret is a neighbourhood gem, great food, friendly service and very popular
This is my go to place for Injera and the best in London as far as I’m concerned. Food is incredible and so is the staff
Unbelievably good food and lovey service. Highly recommend
Zeret kitchen was very delicious and a steal for the price. Myself and my partner had the set meal, which consists of numerous dishes served on a large sharing dish. Beneath all the food dishes is a layer of injera bread, which was very tasty, and the meal is also served with a seemingly limitless supply of extra injera bread. No cutlery is provided, but clearly this is to facilitate the authentic cultural experience of eating the dish with the injera bread.
Will definately love to visit again, the experience, value and taste was infallible. Would recommend all to try at least once.
Excellent Ethiopian food! Their chicken and lamb special allows you to taste several dishes and represents great value. Good food and friendly service--what more could you want?
Very nice bunch of people running this restaurant.
Amazing experience!
Needs better ambience and a quieter environment (eg.nicer artwork on the walls and tables and chairs, table decorations and candles). But the food was good and the service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant if you are into Injira and Ethiopian/Eritrean food.
Lovely food and a really warm welcome. Highly recommend.
Very tasty good. Wonderful presentation. The spices are perfect. It was a finger licking experience. The best Ethiopian food. I will eat more Ethiopian from now on and will make sure to visit Zeret again when i come back to UK. I told all my friends to pass by when they travel.
The owner was present in the restaurant and she personally took the order. Very nice lady with amazing cooking skills.
Good Ethiopian food in Camberwell. Particularly good injera. The special for two was very good value, but we must try more dishes next time (I'm keen to try the kitfo and gomen)! Very friendly service and a choice of Ethiopian beers as well as wine. We will be back!
