Cannot thank the staff enough, there was a slight miscommunication and this was not only rectified quickly, but more than made up for. We had the same waiter both days we attended The Rise, he was wonderful and very understanding. The food was just incredible and worth every penny. Cannot wait to return

Great mains - fish and chips. A bit disappointed with desert not as expected. However, bar/serving staff were polite, gracious and very obliging. Apologies i don't know your names but the two young men on Wednesday evening 28th Oct. were superb. Thank you. You made our experience even better. Look forward to returning.

The overall experience was lovely and will be back to the Milner Hotel, the only criticism would be that on the Afternoon Tea we would have preferred more savoury choices, like 2 of the mini Yorkshire puddings, as these were delicious and maybe egg and cress sandwiches or prawn sandwiches. My Husband and I are not a fan of macaroons, as they are a bit sickly sweet, but the scones were delicious. This is just personal preference but it will not deter us from going back again

We went for lunch on Saturday myself & a friend. They had a wedding happening at the same time, so it was quite noisy, but that was fine by us, you would expect that. The young lady who served us was brilliant. She was under a lot of pressure what with wedding guests & diners, but she coped beautifully. A lovely setting, lovely food, and we were well taken care of by our waitress .

Absolutely lovely, we were lucky the weather was lovely so we were able to sit outside. Will definitely go again.
