Beautiful setting, comfortable, lovely and clean. Restaurant itself was empty but lots of people outside. Menu was a bit heavy for summer but a nice range and lighter starters could become mains with sides. The Chicken Caesar Salad came with bacon not listed on the ingredients which was a happy surprise for one recipient but not the other. Service was mixed depending on the person but all were friendly. We were a party of 5 who enjoyed our evening very much and would visit again.

The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. Food quality was really good, and it was great to be able to add or change items from the menu. The ambience in the outdoor seating area was lovely and made us all think we could have been somewhere away in the Mediterranean!

We had a wonderful afternoon at the Orator on Sunday. The food was delicious. I was especially impressed with the variety of food for vegans. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and all our group (7) where happy with their food and the service. I would highly recommend the Orator and we look forward to visiting again.

Lovely meal and very pleasant staff. We ate early so the pub was quite quiet. Impressed by the cleanliness and love the feel of the pub. Good size portions - not too large to be off putting, and a nice selection of dishes on the menu.

Booked for my wife's birthday, really great service from Gemma, nothing was too much. Choose to have lots of sharing plates rather than meals due to the heat. Selection was fab. Struggled to eat it all, but left with full belly. Would highly recommend The Boot Inn
