Great food and all round service. Even when really busy the staff are on point and always attentive. Recommended for tasty pub grub and lively atmosphere.

We really like the Boatside. The atmosphere was calm, service was good and this restaurant does a fantastic job with celiac options for my husband. He loved his fish and chips. My hot salmon salad was delicious and fresh. My 91 year old mum thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and her first experience of Affogato for desert.

Great for gluten free Sunday roast and dessert, plus dog friendly. Good service even when busy.

Always a delight to go to Moonwake, especially for the monthly Pub Quiz! The staff are always friendly and attentive, and are very knowledgable and accommodating when it comes to helping you decide which of their various beers would best suit you. The quiz itself is also a consistent treat, with an engaging host who, despite some occasional technical issues, handles the entire affair with an effortless humour. If nothing else, come for the quiz and stay for the brews!
