HopCat returned to Royal Oak in 2023 at the corner of Main and 4th Street. The expansive space features multiple sidewalk patios and a massive wrap-around bar. We’re just down the street from the Royal Oak Theatre, Oakland Community College, Stagecrafters Baldwin Theatre, and the Royal Oak train station. HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce.     I always love coming here. Varied menu of delicious options that always deliver. I always vacillate between the quinoa bowls and the bacon-jam peanut butter burger. Both are amazing. The drink menu is vast and perfect. If you're lucky you might just get Brooke as your server.

    We had a wonderful time dining here. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, full of flavor, and served piping hot. On top of that, the service was top-notch. Our server was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

    New Hong Kong on Telegraph in Taylor has the best Chinese, nice selections, a lot of food for cheap (dine-in only ATM)..Ichabon Japanese Steak House is amazing, I love their Sushi..Logan’s Steak House in Southgate on Eureka rd. has the best steaks. Texas Roadhouse has the most amazing rolls that come with cinnamon butter, their seasoned rice is a must have side..of course KFC (mostly anywhere)has the best Chicken and Mashed potatoes around for fast food..Manuals Taco Hut in Allen Park is hands down the best authentic Mexican food, lots of food for low prices.
