Since welcoming its first guests in 1773, The Red Lion Inn has earned a reputation for outstanding food and genuine country hospitality.     We arrived early for our reservation. Hostess was very gracious. Found us a spot even though the Tavern was fully booked. We opted for two bar seats and that was even better. Mia at the bar was a delight. Lunch was quite good. Roasted Brussel sprouts app gets a solid recommendation and Chicken pot pie was a New England treat. Drinks were great. (spiked apple cider) A bit expensive but I've found drinks are almost anywhere you go. Overall a really nice experience.

    Had dinner here while skiing and staying at the lodge. Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The wife had the baked haddock and I had the shrimp scampi. Very generous portions and it tasted really good. The service was great, very friendly and attentive.
