Lovely food and excellent service - we hope to be back soon

Very good service, new menu starting that evening so we were told there might be a little longer to wait, but the food came relatively quickly and was delicious. Cosy atmosphere in the bar area, so a lovely dining experience.

We had a lovely evening at this historical pub. The atmosphere was calm, friendly and cosy and we enjoyed the delicious dinner amazingly cooked! Very friendly and polite staff and we will surely return soon because in 2 weeks they change the menu and I'm very keen to try their tenderloin pork squash linguine with fried sage! 😀 Last evening we had a absolutely amazing lamb! 🥂and the cheesecake and tiramisu was fantastic! 😋

It’s my favourite place. Great service, great wine, great food and great company. Always leave feeling so cared for and must give thanks to Treasure, John and the team for all they do.

Three old friends were visiting Cambridge and it was up to me to find somewhere good to eat. My choice of the Anchor proved universally popular and I would not hesitate to recommend it to all and sundry. Great food and atmosphere and reasonable prices. Top marks.
