Excellent food. The milk bread with sundried tomatoes and basil butter is delicious. Favourite was the lemon sorbet palate cleanserand the cream parfait was on point. Couldn't faukt the experi3nce if i tried, would highly recommend.

Galu has been mine and my wife's favourite restaurant for many years and is always our first choice for special occasions. We recently returned to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and once again it reminded us why we love coming here so much. The staff are fantastic, the service is exceptional, and the food is simply outstanding. Every visit feels special, and the consistency in quality is second to none. In our opinion, Galu is the best restaurant in the area by a mile. We couldn't recommend it highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit. Very good food and excellent service. Nice location in Petersham. Great to walk there through the fields.

All staff members were warm and professional, very welcoming. Right from the entry point to the head chef talking us through the menu, ingredients and even the marinades, cooking processes. Even the potatoes they use for the mash/roast as we said how delicious it was. Table staff were very attentive and informative/knew the menu well. Food was delicious, perfectly prepared, presented - we had no complaints at all. We liked the music when we entered and personally not totally sure it needed a dj later on, we preferred the light jazz on entry. The staff all worked as a good team, it was impressive. We are locals and although we didn’t have the best experiences in other dining outlets at the Fairmont in previous years we are looking forward to returning, as are our neighbours, either for dining or just a cocktail!
